Why does the world raise up certain men in various fields? Why does the world raise up authority figures? Why does the world highly esteem certain man-created authorities such as psychiatry and education? The answer is: the world is an enemy of God.
Henry James – (h/t:F) Every time the world raises up a man, the Christian must ask himself “For what reason?”
Short of an act of God Almighty, the world does not give its coin (fame, power, money) away lightly. It does not bestow its gifts on those who are unfriendly.
“…know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

So it is with “men of letters,” the literary world.
The world can bestow its favors on any it chooses. It will only choose those friendly with the world AND it will choose those who help it further its antichrist agenda.
Henry James fit this description.
So again, the question concerning Henry James: why did the world choose to raise him up?
To the reader who is tempted to answer “Talent”: don’t be naive.
Talent is never the primary consideration when discussing who the world chooses to raise up.
A thorough look back over those the world chose to elevate in the literary field shows a great many who possess mediocre talent at best.
Oh, there are a few obviously-talented ones (Twain and Bierce come to mind), but on the whole, American letters has largely been a dung heap of mediocrity.
Only in the false reality which has been presented to the masses as “history” and “literary history” are such as the James Brothers anything other than quickly-forgotten footnotes.
It was promised in the comments to return soon to this topic. Time limitations prevent us from addressing these items as thoroughly as wished, but here’s a few chewable bits until our time constraints loosen
Henry James – [h/t:F] and his brother William, who the world also raised up) grew up in the household of their father, a semi-famous Swedenborgian theologian. This “theology” developed from the writings of Swedish scientist/theologian, Emanuel Swedenborg. Swedenborg claimed to have received new revelations from Jesus through a series of continuous visions over the course of twenty-five years.
The Swedenborgians took these new revelations as canon, in direct contradiction of the Bible.
What were some of the revelations Swedenborg’s “Jesus” told him?
Well, Swedenborg predicted that God was going to replace the Christian Church with a New Church which would worship God in the one person of Jesus Christ. Like other false religions and cults, Swedenborgianism was all about making a lost person a better person, not saving him through the once-for-all sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Actually, since Swedenborgianism is a “many paths” cult, the blood of Jesus holds no particular significance for them.
All totally unbiblical, but what’s to be expected from a person (Swedenborg) many doubted was even a Christian. [NOTE: This source is a mixed bag, particularly its praise of Watchman Nee.]
So the James boys grew up in a wealthy home surrounded by antichrist teaching of a fairly-famous father (who had his own otherworldly “visitations.“. The philosophy of their early home life came out more prominently perhaps in the writings of William James (who combined science and theology and “metaphysics.”)
But Henry was an apt student as well.
Both of the James brothers engaged in doing the world’s bidding: William, more overtly; Henry, through a sort of sniping subversion.
And that’s all the time for this particular subject, which is a continuation of the theme “The world raises up those who will do it’s bidding and the bidding of its prince.”

SUPERNATURAL POWER: GULLIBILITY CONCERNING, DECEPTION ABOUT AND MANAGEMENT OF
A few recent discussions revealed that there are several misconceptions about supernatural power. One of the biggest: that such power does not exist.
TWO CONVERSATIONS
Several recent conversations covered several points on the same topic: supernatural power and those methods the world now uses to confuse the masses.
In the one, the specific point of addictions and other compulsions was discussed.
It was agreed that there are many substances/behaviors which the world calls addictions.
Once upon a time, the word “addiction” was unknown. IN FACT, the word has only been known for a little over 400 years. Did the behaviors that addiction describes only exist for the past 400 years?
No.
Then, what other words were once used to describe these obsessions the world now calls “addictions“?
Except for “enslavement” (and perhaps “craving“), all are words which describe CHOSEN BEHAVIORS.
Nothing earth-shaking there.
The discussion then moved on to whether a compulsions can be “managed“–and why such “management” grows more difficult over time.
The discussion went something as follows:
“I’m having trouble staying on my program. It’s getting away from me.”
“Don’t be too hard on yourself. You can’t manage something that is stronger than you are.”
“I don’t think any substance is stronger.”
“What if it isn’t just a substance you are up against? What if the Bible is correct and you are struggling against something else? Some kind of entity which means you no good?”
“But I used to be able to manage it really well.”
“Exactly. You believed it to be a behavior. You THOUGHT you had control of it. What if you only had the ILLUSION of control?” What if it was ALWAYS stronger than you and only let you THINK you could manage it all the while, the hook was being set in your mouth and you continued down that path thinking you had control when you didn’t?”
And there the conversation stopped.
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Moving on to another recent conversation, the topic was Hollywood, celebrities and the constant propaganda barrage needed to convince the masses that these people are somehow elegant, refined and someone to be desired.
“But they are so glamorous!”
“Do you know where the word “glamour” came from and what it means?”
(A brief summary of glamour and how they were spells to make someone see something more pleasant or attractive than what was really there.)
Glamour originally was a term applied to a magical-occult spell that was cast on somebody to make them see something the spell-caster wished them to see, when in fact it was not what it seemed to be. In the late 19th century terminology, a non-magical item used to help create a more attractive appearance gradually became known as ‘a glamour’.
“Glamour” originally referred to be a magic spell, an illusion cast by Gypsies and witches.
The reaction when informed that such spells were for sale in the local area?
“People are really gullible. They’ll believe anything.”
“Interesting point. But who is gullible and deceived: the person whose story about glamour explains what is happening around him OR the person in modern America who has been indoctrinated into believing such spells do not exist and who has no answers when those events occur?”
It was then mentioned that there is presently a brisk trade in the buying and selling of such spells–not only on the Internet, but locally in shops that deal in such things.
In addition, it was pointed out that many people have experiences with such supernatural power, that the Bible declares it is real and that the people buying and selling such things also vehemently declare its existence.
The discussion then moved on to other topics.
Supernatural power is a hard subject to discuss for a number of reasons.
1- Many have no experience with it and so do not believe it to exist. A great many of these have no interest because they believe the stories they have been told: that such power does not exist.
2- Some have experience with the supernatural but do not know they have such experiences as they attribute these encounters to the various stories they have been told.
3- Others have regularly had such experiences, but insist they do not exist in order to deceive others.
4- Many who know such power exists only have experiences with illegitimate supernatural power–not the type which is from God Almighty. Perhaps the majority of this group do not even believe there is any other type of supernatural power than the illegitimate type.
When a person finds themselves responding to various events by claiming “That doesn’t make sense,” then the stories that person has been taught to explain why things are the way things are do not work.
IF they worked, events WOULD “make sense.”

DOES the reader have experience with supernatural power?

Maybe that’s why President Lightning Rod, the undercover super-secret Muslim, is always so “in your face” about the things he does and the things he says?
When what man has been led to think true of the end times runs headlong into what God’s Word clearly states will happen, pray that “the master of the house is” not yet “risen up, and hath shut to the door.” [Luke 13:25-27]

Many branches of science started as hothouses of occult knowledge. THEN, science went and prettied itself up to become some sort of knowledge cult, albeit one that emphasized objectivity. Now, science is returning to its roots with quantum this-and-that and its seemingly main mission: to make the demonic less creepy to the average person.
Science has been presented to the world as a sort of referee; as some sort of objective, unbiased, strictly-the-facts-ma’am discipline.
BUT Science! has NEVER been anything other than an occult religion, prettied up to be more presentable to the world.
In the last days, the mask Science! has worn is being dropped. More an more, science is presenting the occult as part of its true nature.
Eventually, science will lead the way for the world’s headlong rush to illegitimate supernatural power. Science will present the demonic as something “user-friendly” and to be desired. It will try to erase the stigmas of dealing with the demonic that centuries of Christianity have erected.
Science will make demonic power seem so less creepy than it really is.

Voters are scared witless of the two parties “working together.” They work so well together now, it’s almost like there’s really only one party. Except when the cameras are rolling, then it’s like a pro wrestling Fight Night.

Of course, regardless of which party is in control, there always seems to be enough votes to pass another law limiting freedoms. Whether Dems or the GOP is in charge, there’s always enough votes to pass higher taxes. There’s always enough votes to do what the elites want done. There’s never enough votes to roll back repressive measures. No matter how many millions the “pro-life” scammers raise, there’s NEVER enough votes to repeal child sacrifice (abortion).
Nearly two-thirds of voters interviewed after casting ballots said the country was seriously on the wrong track.
IS there ANYONE anywhere who really believes the direction of the country will change?
Seriously.
At some point, one would think the American people will discover they have been hoodwinked for the last 225 years–but most of the time that possibility appears rather doubtful. It’s suspected that the American people–who are in the process of being taught by the mystery of iniquity that their American system does not work–when they ARE awakened will spasm the USA into a wild rebellious period of chaos.
And from that chaos, a new order will arise.

Not only this, but the skies will be filled with an unusual combination of spectacular sights throughout the whole of November, ranging from planets to meteor showers.
Still, the Bible says the political forces of climate change are likely to triumph for a season. They are more about creating a worldwide governing authority than they are of creating ‘solutions’ to the fake problem of climate change.

Can we just say it? Homosexuality is going to be the dividing line between the true church and the rising apostate church.

It’s the one sin even apostates can recognize and condemn while they worship their false spirits, practice their pagan rituals, dance around their idols and otherwise get nice and cozy with the world.
Au contraire. Homosexuality is NOT the dividing line between the true Church and the apostate Church.
Homosexuality is the dividing line between the apostate Church and the obviously evil lightning rods which Satan has raised up in order to fool the apostates into believing they have the Holy Spirit and thus, discernment.
The end times whore Church is not an obviously satanic Church. It’s a counterfeit. A counterfeit is something that CLOSELY resembles the genuine article.
The Bible says it looks like a Lamb but sounds like dragon. The apostate whore Church will fool legions of those who presently inhabit the churches into believing their apostasy is really Christianity–kinda like where the American Church in 2014 is already.
There will be no “homosexuals are okay with us” signs in the apostate whore Church of the dragon.
Homosexuality also gives the “discernment ministries” something to talk about to demonstrate they have some discernment.
The battle for control of the Senate remains a jump ball just days before elections, with Democrats leading or within striking distances in seven races — more than enough to take the chamber from Republicans.
