Breaking Every Chain: The End Times Rebellion

The Apostates are declaring that they are breaking their chains.
The ungodly are declaring that they are breaking their chains.

“But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.”
–Luke 19:14

REBELLION AND REVOLT

REVOLT, ANTICHRIST, JUDGMENT: ALL FORETOLD

Breaking every and all of the “chains” of the Law of God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ.

It’s confidently declared by the heathen.

It’s anticipated by all those deceived who use illegitimate supernatural power.

It’s echoed by the ungodly, the deceived and the lost.

It’s loudly sung in the apostate churches.

It’s a sign that end times rebellion is in the air.

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.”
–1Samuel 15:23

For almost 2000 years, or ever since Jesus walked the earth, Satan’s scheme has been to supplant the Son of God with a false messiah, a counterfeit, a satanic deceiver.

Jesus Himself declared:

“I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.”
–John 5:43

Though some blaspheme Jesus as an imposter, how then, did He know? He not only knew of the counterfeit to come, he knew the false Messiah would be received by the same deceived who would reject Jesus as the Nazarene.

“And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.”
–Matthew 2:23

How did the apostle Matthew know?

Almost 2000 years ago, the apostle Paul described the coming of the false messiah. Paul also described the great end times rebellion as the apostasia, which literally means “revolt, rebellion.”  This was changed by the King James translators to a “falling away.”

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
–2Thessalonians 2:3

How did Paul know?

Over 3000 years ago, David described the end times situation of the ungodly “breaking the LORD’s chains.”

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”
–Psalm 2:1-3

3000 years ago, the psalmist also described the LORD’s reaction to their end times rebellion.

“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.”
–Psalm 2:4-5

How did David know?

2000 years ago, the apostle John was more specific of the fate of the great end times rebellion against the LORD and His Anointed, Jesus Christ. He foretold the end of the deceived: the children of disobedience.

“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”
–Revelation 19:15

It is written in the Scriptures, so it will come to pass:

The wicked WILL ascend…

…for one-thousand-two-hundred-sixty days (or forty-two months).

The ungodly can rail all they like.

They can shake their tiny fists at the sky all day and shout blasphemies all night.

They can boast they know the REAL TRUTH; the HIDDEN TRUTH.

They can deceive themselves that the Word of God is a lie.

But the fact remains: centuries before they were born, the rebellion for which they now work for was foretold.

As was their fate.

And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.”
–Revelation 14:20

Tender Mercies of the Lord: Will Not Always Be Available

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
John 20:31

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16

“Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.”
–Proverbs 26:12
