One of the hot topics among many church-going folk appears to be “secret” information–especially concerning “prophecy“–which supposedly can be gleaned from the Bible.
IF only one knows where to look for such hidden information.
A quick search through YouTube videos reveals, not only pagan and false prophecies, but plenty of hidden, supposedly-Christian ones.

Much of what the churches teach as “biblical” are vain traditions and concoctions of man.
And IF enough church folk gab about such supposedly-secret information–such as the witchcraft-inspired Four Blood Moons hoax a few years ago–well then: these hidden yarns gain credence in the churches and are circulated AS IF they were true.

Some workers of iniquity circulate and promote such false prophecies on a regular basis. Their readers and followers appear to be many.
But then, that’s a sign of the times in which we now live.
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”
–Matthew 24:11
IF ONLY the churches would take to heart that which is PLAINLY written in Scripture.
“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
–Deuteronomy 29:29
The Bible is not a secret code book. The instructions, warnings and prophecies are plain for all to see and study. Only the Book of Daniel was sealed–and that only until the end times.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”
–Daniel 12:4, 8-9
Church-g0ers are fond of saying “Read your Bible.”
But there is no such command in the Bible itself. The command is to STUDY God’s Word.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Again, the Bible is not some sort of end times secret code book (such as was proposed in the infamous Bible Code scam).
“For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.”
–Luke 12:2
The Bible is God’s Word.
God did not hide “secrets” which can only be divined by those with secret knowledge.
God did not hide “prophecies” which can only be divined by those with secret knowledge.
God did not hide “hidden” end times instructions which can only be divined by those with secret knowledge.
Such appeals to hidden, secret knowledge were the basis of Gnosticism, which the apostles of Jesus Christ fought tooth and nail after his resurrection.
“Lu 8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”

HAS the reader fallen for the lure of “secret” knowledge?
DOES the reader suppose that the Bible is full of such hidden instructions IF ONLY one knows where to look?
THOUGH time grows short, there is still time left to change direction (repent) and call upon the name of the LORD.
Do not wait until it is too late.
