While looking about recently on a trip to a book store, a large sign caught the eye.
The sign was for sale. It was the type of sign one can buy to post in one’s home as a conversation starter or just to declare where one’s thoughts are on a particular topic.
The sign proclaimed “Don’t let the muggles get you down.”
Although this particular phrase might not mean much to the casual observer, it was known that in the occult world of Harry Potter, “muggles” referred to a person who was not magical.
In fact, a quick Internet search revealed that the term “muggles” is actually used–and has been employed for decades–in the real world.
a person who lacks any sort of magical ability and was not born in a magical family. Muggles can also be described as people who do not have any magical blood inside them. It differs from the term Squib, which refers to a person with one or more magical parents yet without any magical power/ability, and from the term Muggle-born (or the derogatory and offensive term mudblood, which is used to imply the supposed impurity of Muggle blood), which refers to a person with magical abilities but with non-magical parents. The equivalent term used by the in-universe magic community of America is No-Maj, which is short for No Magic. The neologism, No-Maj was popular in the 1920s but soon went out of fashion and the original term, muggle came back into use before World War II and has been muggle ever since.
Like so much else that is repeated endlessly in the stories told by Big Entertainment, “muggles” is more a term of deception than a mere plot device.
“Muggle” is a term meant to mislead and deceive those who do not know any better–as is the term “magic.”
There is NO magic.
There IS demonic power from a familiar spirit.
Meanwhile, back at the bookstore, the mind then wandered to the thought that this is all merely end times camouflage to assist the wicked.
Harry Potter was one of the largest propaganda campaigns ever conducted to convince the masses that wizardry, sorcery, demons and witchcraft is, not only acceptable, but is to be preferred over the alternatives.
To convince that familiar spirits and those cursed with them are fashionable and cool.
Witchcraft in the End Times: Popular and Fashionable
Meanwhile, that quick Internet search also revealed that “Don’t let the muggles get you down.” merchandise was widely available.
Mugs, shirts, signs, keychains: like so much else in the world, whatever occult wish one has can be fulfilled for the right price.
Don’t let the muggles get you down.
It’s a great way to show which side the youth should be on: those with familiar spirits who are able to perform “magic” and other parlor tricks OR the non-magical muggles, who must make do with the same boring routine: day after day, year after year.
Those who control the world do NOT do counterprogramming.
Otherwise there would be signs–and much other merchandise as well–available which proclaimed, “Don’t let your evil spirit pal give you cancer” OR “Don’t let your demon drag you to hell.”
IS the reader familiar with the warning “Don’t let the muggles get you down“?
IS the reader a fan of Harry Potter and other popular occult tales?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
