“FEAR” is just a vague idea UNLESS one is afflicted with that which makes the blood pound in one’s ears and the heart jackhammer so hard, at times it seems it will beat a hole through one’s chest.
“PEACE” is only a fuzzy concept UNLESS one has suffered from a lack of serenity.
“ETERNAL SALVATION” is only some bit of primitive mumbo jumbo UNLESS one has had one’s eyes opened to the bleakness of a future without it.
“INSOMNIA” is just a medical term UNLESS one has lost track of what day it is because the days and nights are NOT divided by slumber, while craving the elusive, soothing salve of sleep.
To any who have lived through such periods of extreme doubt, mental unrest and anxiety, these thoughts are only the beginning of an old, familiar discussion which could last for days.
To everyone else?
They are just words.
HAS the reader made any preparations for the last days?
OR, is all such talk “just words” and nothing else?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
