IF NOTHING ELSE, this current presidential election season has focused one’s mind on the maxim “Be careful what you wish for.”
Americans are urged to “pick a side.” And in the picking of a side, Americans soon discover that their system has moved from “Our guy is the best and can make things better” to “If the other guy wins, life will be hell.”
In other words, “If you think things are bad now, wait until you see how bad things get if the other guy wins.”
This is NOW the new Promise of America: “It could be worse.”
Progressives think that Donald Trump is the epitome of foolishness: the ultimate dolt who, if re-elected, will lead this country into the very pits of hell.
And they are probably right.
Conservatives believe that Joe Biden is corruption personified: a man who will take what is yours and who wants the state to take whatever of yours that Biden cannot personally steal.
And they are probably right.
Progressives’ greatest hope is that Joe Biden is not Donald Trump.
And they are wrong.
Conservatives fear that Donald Trump is an undercover Joe Biden.
And they are right.
To all of the shills who drive around in vehicles with Trump flags waving: “Keep America Great.”
What is it that Donald Trump has done the past four years that has kept the United States afloat?
To all of the paid performers who populate Joe Biden “rallies“: Why was “creepy” the preferred word used to describe Joe Biden during his eight years as vice-president?
BOTH sides will have the pleasure of living in a political paradise of their own making IF their champion is selected.
BOTH sides will find out how thin is the line between the world’s definition of “paradise” and hell.
ONLY after life is finished on the bed of thorns known as the world does the reader have a chance to experience REAL paradise–though most will choose NOT to experience it.
And so, men will continue plowing their faith into the schemes of man right up until Jesus returns–and the schemes most clung to are the ones involving creating a paradise on earth through the promises of politicians.
Because BOTH sides are deceived, neither realizes they are BOTH fighting for the same things.
Because BOTH sides are deceived beyond words, neither comprehend that they BOTH live in a nightmare on earth NOW.
Because BOTH sides are deluded beyond belief, neither understands that–regardless of who wins–BOTH will continue to live in a wretched political paradise of their own making.
And the two sides are far closer than anyone of them can imagine.

DOES the reader have a political favorite into which the reader has invested his hopes for the future?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
