“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
–Matthew 24:24
ALL those who put their faith in the WORLD to deliver them, work for Satan–whether they admit it or not.
And all of these UNWITTING (as well as the WITTING workers of iniquity) deceivers create a heaviness of deception that the modern can FEEL.
In fact, there is so much modern deception, there appears to not be enough time to answer all of the deceptions.
HOWEVER, modern deception is much like ALL deception: it CAN be seen through and recognized–mainly because of the limitations of lying.
A liar (even a VERY good liar) cannot think of all of the ramifications of his lie.
Therefore, even a good liar will trip over the details of his own lies.
BUT, moderns DESIRE to be deceived.
It makes it easier for moderns to live their lives and to continue to enjoy the comforts to which they have long become accustomed.
It is SO much easier for a modern person to throw up his hands and mutter, “Oh, when will things ever get back to normal?” than it is to examine the deceptions which have led the modern to his state of confusion.
It is a feature of modern deception that it is so PREVALENT in today’s modern world.
Whether or not the reader CLAIMS to want the “TRUTH.”
AND SO, deception settles upon the shoulders of ALL moderns like a heaviness which is felt, but not seen.
BUT, the modern deceived does not HAVE TO remain deceived.
UNLESS he wants to be.
Even having God’s Holy Spirit is NO guarantee against being deceived.
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
–John 16:13
God’s Word does NOT say the ‘Spirit of truth’ will FORCE you into the truth.
It says “he will guide you into all truth…”
The modern deceived does not HAVE TO remain deceived–UNLESS he wants to be.
IS the reader FAMILIAR with deception?
It is not YET too late: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
Make Your Calling and Election Sure: End Times Survival
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation
