Informed Speculation About the End Times

SPECULATION

The believer is like any other human being in that the believer is intellectually CURIOUS about circumstances only HINTED AT by God’s Word.  Therefore, the believer SOMETIMES turns to a bit of INFORMED SPECULATION based on what God’s Word MOSTLY declares.

It is this end times speculation which is used to ‘fill-in-the-blanks’ of this piece.  Because God’s Word does NOT spell out EVERYTHING about the end times AND because the believer is naturally curious about the events which take place in the end times, OCCASIONALLY the believer will turn to INFORMED SPECULATION.

[Because of the speculative nature of these sources, ALL or PART or NONE of these events based on speculation might happen.  They are entertaining to while away the time until Jesus returns however.  The reader should keep the speculative nature of these events in mind when considering them.]

THE DEADLY HEAD WOUND

The Bible gives an account of a ‘beast’ which receives a deadly head wound.

“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”
–Revelation 13:2-4

Try as they might, satanic Bible teachers have labored many long years in the attempt to make this wounding received is by a PERSON.
(The Bible refers to ‘beasts’ and it is the CONTEXT of the verse which determines whether God’s Word is referring to a king or the kingdom of a king. Unless there is a person (king) who has ‘ten heads,’ this passage is referring to a COUNTRY (kingdom).

So it is a kingdom (country) which receives this deadly head wound–NOT a king.

One other point to be raised is that God’s Word does NOT say that the kingdom (country) receives a deadly wound; it says “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death.”

It only APPEARS to the world that the country is wounded mightily.

Can the reader think of any country which helps lead the world (-wide beast kingdom) and which might act like it is ‘wounded to death’?  Can the reader think of any country which might participate in such a deception?

This is where the informed speculation comes in: the news each day supplies information about various countries, their (supposed) goals and their (supposed) aims. The reader should be able to put two and two together on this point.

So, one of the leading countries (heads of the beast) appears to suffer a deadly head wound. This deception would have to be VERY convincing to fool most of the people who dwell upon the earth.

And it will be.

What should the reader do?

The reader should do as the Bible commands all to do: WATCH and stay alert to all of this ‘news’ (some of it a COMPLETE deception). Therefore, IF the reader stays ALERT, the reader should be able to tell when this (non-) event happens.

This is only ONE of the key points on which informed speculation helps to inform any who are interested in the last days.  There are other such points.

God willing, those points will be addressed in the near future.

HAS the reader ever been informed of the ‘facts’ surrounding a ‘deadly head wound’ of one of the beast’s heads?

It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
