Senate Democrats threaten to change Senate filibuster rules on party line vote –  This would negate the need for the Corporate Media to write filibuster narratives.  The Dems have been threatening to do this for a few years–which is odd because their fortunes have been declining over that time.  Now, why would they do away with a rule that they would need in the coming years?  Why not do away with it when they were at the height of their power (after the 2008 election), instead of on the tail end?  IF one believes the narrative,  they are upset with Republicans blocking Obama’s court nominees.

As the consummation of all things nears, the reality behind the media narratives becomes more transparent.

As a side note, the photo of Harry Reid in the linked article is interesting.  Reid is giving the double 666 hand signs.  Funny how often those hand signs appear in the media, isn’t it?

Senate Considers UN Treaty Despite Growing Skepticism – The UN generates nothing of value, but spits out international “binding” treaties on everything.  This one is the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)

There are numerous dangers posed by this treaty, including threats to sovereignty, and the danger that the treaty’s “sexual and reproductive health” language could be used to advance abortion. Farris says a top danger of the treaty is the best interest of the child clause. “The best interest of the child clause, found in this treaty and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, is fancy language for saying the government knows better than parents when it comes to raising kids,” he said. “We saw just recently a court in England take an 18-year-old young man who suffers from cerebral palsy away from his mother because they thought they could better serve the best interest of the child. While we have no clear indication of whether or not the CRPD was used in this case, this is the kind of thing we’ll see if we ratify this treaty.”
