Mere C.S. Lewis: Pagan Apologist for Apostasy

CS Lewis: Antichrist apologist for Apostasy

A long read, but intended as a resource for all those who want to discover–or who already have discovered–C.S. Lewis as a clever, counterfeit Christian.

MERE C.S. LEWIS

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [expose] them.”
–Ephesians 5:11

C.S. Lewis was a man exalted by the world for being a Christian.

Which means that C.S. Lewis was a man of the world, NOT a man of God.

IF Lewis had been a man of God, he would have been hated by the world, not promoted by the world.

“If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
John 15:19

And the world LOVED C.S. Lewis!

He was an impostor who slyly contradicted the Bible at every turn, all the while SOUNDING GOOD IF the reader had little knowledge of God’s Word. In this regard, Lewis was just one more last days mocker and scoffer of the world, heaping scorn on God’s Word.

IF one is of the world, what’s not to love?

Anyone who exalts C.S. Lewis as a man of God or as a Christian either 1) has not read his works; or, 2) has read his works and is attempting to deceive.

All which made Clive Staples Lewis the PERFECT “Christian” writer for the end times.

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”
–2Corinthians 11:13-15

CS Lewis: Antichrist Superstar

C.S. LEWIS: IN HIS OWN WORDS

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”
–2Peter 2:1

C.S. Lewis was such an occult pagan, any believer reading his pretend version of Christianity can easily see he was a hopelessly lost apostate.

His writings contain bold heresies, pagan and occult references and reasoning, as well as contradictions to the very beliefs which make Christianity Christian.

His relentless, though sly, denial of Jesus Christ’s divinity and his promotion of other gospels (more than one way to heaven, those who do not know Jesus can be saved) reveal Lewis as an infiltrator, a tare and a pretender.

BUT Lewis SOUNDED GOOD: he was clever at times, entertaining at times and always looking to undermine the Word of God. In short, C.S. Lewis was a counterfeit Christian.

But not a counterfeit only: Lewis was an accursed counterfeit.

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
–Galatians 1:8,9

It’s also evident that Lewis was a natural man: i.e., not having the Holy Spirit, the Bible was foolishness to him. In Lewis’ writings, he repeatedly demonstrates he had no idea what the Word of God meant.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
–1 Corinthians 2:14

Presented for the reader’s edification: some C.S. Lewis quotes demonstrating everything that has been written here thus far.

C.S. LEWIS: THE BIBLE AND JESUS ARE NOT TRUE

“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.”
2John 1:7

“Jesus was the fulfillment of myth.”
–The Problem of Pain

“I have the deepest respect for Pagan myths, still more for myths in the Holy Scriptures.”
–The Problem of Pain

“For long centuries God perfected the animal form which was to become the vehicle of humanity and the image of Himself”
–The Problem of Pain [page 177]

Antichrist C.S. Lewis not only denied God’s Word as being true, he denied Jesus Christ.

“Say what you like,” we shall be told, “the apocalyptic beliefs of the first Christians have been proved to be false. It is clear from the New Testament that they all expected the Second Coming in their own lifetime. And worse still, they had a reason, and one which you will find very embarrassing. Their Master had told them so. He shared, and indeed created, their delusion. He said in so many words, ‘this generation shall not pass till all these things be done.’ And he was wrong. He clearly knew no more about the end of the world than anyone else.”
It is certainly the most embarrassing verse in the Bible. Yet how teasing, also, that within fourteen words of it should come the statement “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” The one exhibition of error and the one confession of ignorance grow side by side.”
–“The World’s Last Night” [1960]

Nothing demonstrates the biblical illiteracy of Lewis as does this quote. Those who are obviously ignorant will SELDOM admit their ignorance. And so, Lewis put his lack of Bible knowledge on display for all the world to see, all the while pointing his heathen fingers at Jesus.

The Bible was clearly foolishness to C.S. Lewis. As it is to all who hold this man up as an example of Christianity. Lewis embarrassed not only himself with his ignorance and demonstrated lack of the Holy Spirit, he embarrasses all who follow him.

“Naivety, error, contradiction, even (as in the cursing Psalms) wickedness are not removed [from Scripture].”
–Letter to Mr. Kilby [May 7, 1959]

About those who wrote the Psalms, Lewis called them “ferocious, self-pitying, barbaric men” and their Psalms were “fatal confusion,” “devilish,” “diabolical,” “contemptible,” petty and vulgar.
–Reflections on the Psalms, [pp 18-22, 24]

“I have no difficulty accepting, say, the view of those scholars who tell us that the account of Creation in Genesis is derived from earlier Semitic stories which were Pagan and mythical.”
–Reflections of the Psalms

“as I believe, Christ, fulfills both Paganism and Judaism.”
–Reflections On The Psalms [page 129]

“…but (man) remains still a primate and an animal.”
–Reflections on the Psalms [p. 115]

MORE THAN ONE WAY

“There are people in other religions who are being led by God’s secret influence to concentrate on those parts of their religion which are in agreement with Christianity, and who thus belong to Christ without knowing it.”
–Mere Christianity

“I think that every prayer which is sincerely made even to a false god or to a very imperfectly conceived true God, is accepted by the true God and that Christ saves many who do not think they know Him.”
–Letters of C. S. Lewis, [page 428]

“We do know that no man can be saved except through Christ; we do not know that only those who know Him can be saved through Him.”
–Mere Christianity

CS Lewis shared Billy Graham’s One-World Church beliefs about salvation

“There are people in other religions who are being led by God’s secret influence to concentrate on those parts of their religion which are in agreement with Christianity, and who thus belong to Christ without knowing it. For example a Buddhist of good will may be led to concentrate more and more on the Buddhist teaching about mercy and to leave in the background (though he might still say he believed) the Buddhist teaching on certain points. Many of the good Pagans long before Christ’s birth may have been in this position.” (Mere Christianity pg.176, 177).

C.S. LEWIS: APOSTATE SUPERSTAR

The gist of a comment left at a Christian website who augmented a post on CS Lewis with the words “Lewis had some sharp insights!”

“We do know that no person can be saved except through Christ. We do not know that only those who know Him can be saved by Him.”
–(C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity)

“There are people in other religions who.. thus belong to Christ without knowing it.”

“There are people who do not accept the full Christian doctrine about Christ but who are so strongly attracted by Him that they are His in a much deeper sense than they themselves understand. There are people in other religions who are being led by God’s secret influence to concentrate on those parts of their religion which are in agreement with Christianity, and who thus belong to Christ without knowing it. For example, a Buddhist of good will may be led to concentrate more and more on the Buddhist teaching about mercy and to leave in the background (though he might still say he believed) the Buddhist teaching on certain other points. Many of the good Pagans long before Christ’s birth may have been in this position.”
–Mere Christianity [pp 176-177]

This is the Billy Graham 33rd Degree Freemason path to eternal damnation.

MORE UNGODLY LEWIS STATEMENTS

“Man’s conquest of Nature turns out, in the moment of its consummation, to be Nature’s conquest of Man.”
–The Abolition of Man

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:”
–Psalm 8:4-6

“No doubt those who really founded modern science were usually those whose love of truth exceeded their love of power.”
–The Abolition of Man

REBRANDING EVIL: Science is an Ancient, Pagan Religion

“The one most people have heard is the one I mentioned before – the one about our being let off because Christ had volunteered to bear a punishment instead of us. Now on the face of it that is a very silly theory. If God was prepared to let us off, why on earth did He not do so? And what possible point could there be in punishing an innocent person instead?”
–Mere Christianity [page 44]

“Safety and happiness can only come from individuals, classes, and nations being honest and fair and kind to each other.”
–The Case for Christianity

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
–Psalm 53:1-3

“What happens in the Lord’s Supper is a mystery, and so the Roman Catholic conception of the bread and wine becoming the actual body and blood of Christ might be just as valid as the Protestant view of the Lord’s Supper as a memorial.”
–Letters to Malcolm

“Of course I pray for the dead. The action is so spontaneous, so all but inevitable, that only the most compulsive theological case against it would deter men. And I hardly know how the rest of my prayers would survive if those for the dead were forbidden.”
–Letters to Malcolm

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.”
–1 Thessalonians 4:13

LEWIS KNEW MORE ABOUT THE OCCULT, PAGANISM and WITCHCRAFT THAN CHRISTIANITY

Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia was a dark, occult blend of witchcraft, paganism and the demonic masquerading as s sort of Christian analogy for all those who didn’t know the Bible.

But Narnia was only the best known.

Here’s three other snippets of Lewis’ obvious fondness for the occult and paganism.

“You and I have need of the strongest spell that can be found to wake us from the evil enchantment of worldliness.”
–The Weight of Glory (Preached as a sermon in the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Oxford, England, June 8, 1941)

“All the things magicians do
Could be done by me and you
Freely, if we only knew.”

“Human children every day
Could play at games the faeries play
If they were but shown the way.”

–Hymn (for Boy’s Voices) [Spirits in Bondage, page xxxi]

“I had some ado to prevent Joy and myself from relapsing into Paganism in Attica! At Daphni it was hard not to pray to Apollo the Healer. But somehow one didn’t feel it would have been very wrong – would have only been addressing Christ sub specie Apollinis.”
–letter to Chad Walsh [1960] and C.S. Lewis: A Biography [page 276]

C.S. LEWIS: ANTICHRIST INFILTRATOR

C.S. Lewis’ Greatest Fiction: Convincing American Kids That They Would Like Turkish Delight – Actually, Lewis’ greatest fiction was convincing anyone he was a Christian.

Shocking beliefs of C.S. Lewis – Here is another worker of iniquity apologizing for Lewis’ heresies.

C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien: Heretical Fruits

A famous witch made the statement “I come from a family of witches. While you were learning the 23rd Psalm, I was reading Tolkien and CS Lewis.”

Lewis pretended as if he was defending Christianity while really attacking Jesus, the Bible, and every facet of God’s Word he addressed in his antichrist screeds.

“Say what you like,” (we shall be told) “the apocalyptic beliefs of the first Christians have been proved to be false. It is clear from the New Testament that they all expected the Second Coming in their own lifetime. And, worse still, they had a reason, and one which you will find very embarassing. Their Master had told them so. He shared, and indeed created, their delusion. He said in so many words, ‘this generation shall not pass till all these things be done.’ And he was wrong. He clearly knew no more about the end of the world than anyone else.”

It is certainly the most embarassing verse in the Bible. Yet how teasing, also, that within fourteen words of it should come the statement “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” The one exhibition of error and the one confession of ignorance grow side by side…

The facts, then, are these: that Jesus professed himself (in some sense) ignorant, and within a moment showed that he really was so. To believe in the Incarnation, to believe that he is God, makes it hard to understand how he could be ignorant; but also makes it certain that, if he said he could be ignorant, then ignorant he could really be. For a God who can be ignorant is less baffling than a God who falsely professes ignorance. The answer of theologians is that the God-Man was omniscient as God, and ignorant as Man. This, no doubt, is true, though it cannot be imagined.”
The World’s Last Night , fromThe Essential C.S. Lewis, page 385

CS Lewis was a natural man; i.e., a man without the Holy Spirit; unredeemed; lost and on his way to perdition. Which is why, though he made numerous comments on the Bible, he repeatedly demonstrated he had NO understanding of God’s Word.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
1 Corinthians 2:14

But CS Lewis SOUNDED RIGHT to those who lacked the Holy Spirit (which is much of the world), so he was exalted by the world as “a Christian apologist;” that is, a defender of Christianity.

Please.

The world exalts Lewis because he was an infiltrator. IF C.S. Lewis was a Christin, the world would hate him. Yet the world loves him.

“If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
John 15:19

Lewis was of the world. He was of Satan.

Those who exalt C.S. Lewis as a Christian have either not read him OR have read him and are absent the Holy Spirit.

CS LEWIS: Observations

NOTE (3-14-2016): The following was in our notes from December 6, 2015.  Since it is not likely we will write another separate C.S. Lewis article, we’ll add it to this one the reader is reading.

Some information may be duplicated from above. At some point in the near future, an edit will be performed and a coherent whole produced.

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

C.S. LEWIS: SOME OBSERVATIONS ON A COUNTERFEIT CHRISTIAN

A few observations on C. S. Lewis, a man who consistently questioned and attacked Jesus Christ, the Bible and God Almighty. It’s little wonder the world holds Lewis in high regard; his constant sniping at all things Jesus is exactly what the world is asking for to earn its acclaim.

But (strangely enough) C.S. Lewis is also exalted by the antichrist, apostate churches.

1 – LEWIS MADE SO MANY ANTICHRIST STATEMENTS, TO PROMOTE HIM AS A CHRISTIAN REVEALS THE PROMOTER AS AN IMPOSTER.

CS Lewis SOUNDED RIGHT to those who lacked the Holy Spirit (which is much of the world), so he was exalted by the world as “a Christian apologist;” that is, a defender of Christianity.

Please.

The world exalts Lewis because he was an infiltrator. IF C.S. Lewis was a Christian, the world would hate him.

2- THOSE WHO DEFEND LEWIS DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DEFEND HIS STATEMENTS. THEY BASE THEIR ARGUMENTS ON THE WORLD’S REASONING.

Reading the discussions at various “Christian forums,” it’s obvious that the defenders of C.S. Lewis cannot defend the man’s many antichrist statements.

Such as

Reading this statement without knowing who wrote it, one would have to believe it to be the work of an atheist or pagan.

How is this to be defended?

There are particular beliefs which are necessary if one is a Christian. That Jesus is the Son of God is one of these. That Jesus and God Almighty are infallible is another.

Lewis demonstrated in this short passage his inability to fathom the most basic of Christian precepts.

3- LEWIS ARRIVED AT HIS CONCLUSIONS ON CHRISTIANITY AS A NATURAL MAN, NOT AS ONE WHO DISCERNS THE THINGS OF GOD.

Lewis pretended as if he was defending Christianity while really attacking Jesus, the Bible, and every facet of God’s Word he addressed in his antichrist screeds.

4- ANY COLLECTION OF LEWIS QUOTES CONTAINS A FAIR SHARE OF HERESY AND OCCULT REFERENCES.

IN THE SO-CALLED “CHRISTIAN” WRITINGS OF LEWIS, HE SHOWS AN INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DETAILS OF THEOSOPHY, GNOSTICISM, CATHOLICISM, PAGANISM, MAGIC, WITCHCRAFT AND THE OCCULT; HE EXHIBITS VERY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE OF BEING BORN AGAIN: THE TRANSFORMED LIFE OF ONE SAVED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.

Surprised by C.S. Lewis: Why his popularity endures – It is no surprise why Lewis’ popularity has endured: the world elevates and promotes antichrist writers.

Based on Lewis’ writings, the man was not even a Christian, yet the world promotes him as a “Christian apologist” for the unsuspecting–much as it does the wolves and false teachers which infest so-called Christian TV.  It’s no surprise that this Lewis PR piece is done by a premier member-in-good-standing of Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media): CNN.

1- hasn’t read his works;
2- is ignorant of the differences between true Christianity and clever-sounding counterfeits;

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
