“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
MALI: About 27 dead after Islamists seize hotel in Mali’s capital – It appears the forces of chaos are getting down to business.
EUROPE: EVERY traveller entering Europe will be checked against terror watch lists – The New Normal.
“After the attacks in Paris, I don’t want to talk about ISIS, or “ISIL,” or “Daesh,” or “P. Diddy,” or whatever we’re supposed to call them this week.”
Obama Blocks 75 Percent of Terror Targets From Bombing – Because he’s a traitor!
And Obama is certainly playing the part.
House votes to block refugees from Syria, Iraq despite White House veto threat – Very odd. The House pretends it has power now, but a few months ago it (and the Corporate Media) pretended it was powerless to stop Obama and his executive orders.
Trump: ‘I Didn’t Suggest A Database’ For Registering Muslims – Backtracking.
Jeb, GOP Slam Trump, Carson Over ‘Abhorrent’ Muslim Comments – Some figure if something is being slammed by Hillary and Jeb, it must be okay.
In this case, the Muslims MUST be untrustworthy.
Americans counting on the GOP to stem the pending flood of Syrian/Iraqi refugees to the US with the House passage of H.R. 4038 can sleep well tonight – wait, not so fast. The latest reactive attempt to blunt President Obama’s wish to shelter Muslim refugees from Syria is the American SAFE Act of 2015 authored by Congressmen Mike McCaul (R-TX) and Richard Hudson (R-NC) and strongly endorsed by new Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI). The SAFE Act essentially broadens President powers by giving Obama unilateral authority to determine the number, location, and benefits the US will offer predominantly Syria Muslim refugees relocating in the US.
So the Corporate Media is making a big deal of the Republican House ‘blocking’ President Obama when, in fact, they are handing him “unilateral authority.”
That sounds about right.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
-—1 Corinthians 1:18-19
Yes, the gospel of Jesus Christ is certainly “the power of God unto salvation.”
Use that power.
If not for yourself, then, for your loved ones.
Everyone needs to stop their vacuous moral posturing over the refugee crisis – IF everyone in the Corporate Media were down on the Syrian refugees, there would likely be a backlash.
These types of pieces are published to 1) give the illusion of ‘reasoned debate’ and 2) to provide straw men for the war drum beaters to knock over at the appropriate time.
But the debate is not reasoned, as the next series of chaotic events will reveal.
“And I thought this was interesting: A new study found that millennials are much more optimistic about the economy improving than past generations. Most millennials are confident that there will be plenty of high-paying jobs for their parents.”
14 Predictions for 2016 from the Brightest Minds in Finance – Most are usually wrong.
Here’s the way this works: IF a prediction is right, the media will never let you forget it. IF it’s wrong, you’ll never hear about that prediction ever again.
Americans: Pay Your Taxes–Or Lose Your Passport – Nowhere or no way to run.
“Campbell’s is recalling over 300,000 cans of SpaghettiOs. Turns out, they contain a very dangerous substance called “SpaghettiOs.”
Why Don’t We Just Throw All Our Garbage Into Volcanoes? – That would be too easy.
MEDIA NARRATIVES ALERT
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
“Things are never quite what they seem. Events are seldom close to how the media and history portray them.”
