THE GOSPEL IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION
One of the most voiced concerns when visiting the churches is “unsaved loved ones.”
Is the concern real? It appears to be.
But then, only God knows the heart.
IF this concern is genuine, the big question becomes: Why?
As in “Why don’t these church-goers share the gospel with their unsaved loved ones?” After all, the gospel is the “power of God unto salvation.”
Talking with those in the churches, it’s hard to see how they could be sharing the gospel (a commandment of Jesus) when almost universally, they do not KNOW the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It’s hard to share what you do not know.
So, does the reader have an unsaved loved one?
Is the reader concerned about the eternal destination of this loved one?
THEN, share the gospel.
IF someone else offers you something “better,” TURN IT DOWN. Other gospels have a great attraction for both the workers of iniquity and the lost. Because they do not know the power of God, the saving power of the gospel of Jesus Christ is incomprehensible to them.
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

IF the reader is genuinely concerned about an unsaved love one, share the gospel.
And pray.
There are no guarantees, but God makes many promises to those who are His.
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
—James 5:16
It’s suspected that much of the chatter in the churches about “unsaved love ones” is just that: chatter. After all, IF many of the church-goers were really concerned, they would do what God commands: share the gospel.
But again, only God knows the heart.
He knows yours too.
Share the gospel.
IT’S THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION.
