END TIMES PREPARATION
This is the time when various sports seasons are winding to a close. And it is very common to hear throughout the Land of the Free, proclamations of the sin of Pride.
“I’m so proud of this team.”
“They have made me so proud.”
“I couldn’t be prouder.”
God’s Word declares pride is a sin.
“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.”
—Ezekiel 16:49
“When pride cometh, then cometh shame:”
—Proverbs 11:2
“Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
—Mark 7:22-23
But in the land that many are deceived into believing is a “Christian nation,” PRIDE is a virtue to be trumpeted and announced. The world revels in its PRIDE. The reader should not be deceived by either himself, the so-called “discernment ministries,” or the wolf presiding in his pulpit: pride is a sin.
The end result of unrepentant pride will be eternal damnation.
But God Almighty will recompense before then.
“Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.”
—Jeremiah 49:16
Pride is a sin. Feeling proud come from pride. Regardless of all those assuring the reader PRIDE is wonderful, PRIDE remains a sin.
For all those looking for a sign of the end times, the proliferation of PRIDE is significant. And the proclamations of PRIDE throughout the land signals its end is near.
“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”
—Proverbs 16:18
To any who desire to prepare for the end times: humble yourself, hate pride and the proud.
“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.”
—Proverbs 8:13
Many are nervously looking around, knowing something is wrong. Take this time to spiritually prepare.
- Humble yourself.
- Eschew pride.
- Fear the LORD.
“Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.”
—Proverbs 16:19
“The LORD will destroy the house of the proud:”
—Proverbs 15:25
THE GOSPEL
“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
