Fake Gospels: Sure Sign of Counterfeit Christianity

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
–Mark 16:15

FAKE CHRISTIAN WEBSITES REFUSE TO SHARE THE GOSPEL

There are literally thousands of fake Christian websites who offer other gospels to mislead the lost.

Though God’s Word warns of such end times deceptions, few read, even fewer study and very, very few believe the Bible.

“but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
–Galatians 1:7-9

(NOTE: This website is no better or worse than the many we’ve come across. None offer the gospel, preferring instead to offer the schemes of man. In this regard they match the performance of most churches we’ve attended.)

God’s Simple Plan of Salvation

As usual, there are a lot of Bible verses offered, a lot of really good-sounding words but NO GOSPEL. This is because the counterfeits refuse to share the gospel. They will slyly offer ANYTHING but the gospel.

Of course, it is the GOSPEL which is the power of God unto salvation. It is the GOSPEL through which God chose to offer eternal salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ to all who believe.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16

This sad situation continues because the vast majority of church-goers don’t know the gospel from a carburetor.

We were also warned about such a situation in the end times.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
–2Timothy 3:1,5

And indeed Paul was right: they offer a form of godliness (the Bible verses, the ABC’s of salvation, etc.) but they deny the power of God (the gospel).

It all LOOKS good, IF one doesn’t look too closely.

The absolute refusal to share the gospel and the willingness to disguise this by offering other gospels is a sure way to tell those who have Jesus on their lips but their hearts are far away.

Beware!

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

The Gospel is Hidden to Those who are Lost
