Those who claim to be atheists define themselves by their claim that they do not believe in God.
Atheists claim that they play no favorites: they say they do not believe in ANY god.
But God’s Word clearly states there are NO other gods.
“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me”
–Isaiah 45:5
“Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.”
–Deuteronomy 4:39
“That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.”
–Isaiah 45:6
SO the atheist is saying there is no God.
The chatter about not believing in ANY god?
It’s just chatter: there are no other gods.
SO, in effect, the atheist is really saying, “I don’t believe in God.”
“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”
–Psalm 14:1
Because atheists are so proud of using their human intellect—instead of relying on the words of others–they place a great deal of store in what can be seen and experienced.
The atheist bases many of his viewpoints on his personal experiences.
SO, if the atheist had a set of DIFFERENT, “wider” experiences, PERHAPS he would choose to be something other than an atheist.
The atheist claims there is no God.
Thank heavens God is more open-minded.
Poor atheist!
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
