Passing Along Modern Stories

One of the unshakable beliefs of modern society is that, not only does one have a unique story, but that one should share the STORY of that unique episode with others.

How many times has the reader been told “Everybody has story“?

How many times has the reader been told “Everybody has a story TO TELL“?

How many times has the reader been invited to share his “unique” story with others? (“Everyone has a story to tell. What’s yours?”)

So, here is a question for the inquisitive reader: “What are the odds that people of the SAME human condition; who have been raised watching the SAME TV shows; who have been raised listening to the SAME music; who have all went through the SAME 13 years of indoctrination which K-12 provides; who work the SAME 9-5 jobs; who get the SAME propaganda from the SAME TV/smartphone/newspaper/magazine sources; who shop at the SAME stores; who live in the SAME type of housing; who look to the SAME political, government and cultural systems for guidance; ALL have a DIFFERENT story?”

The correct answer to this question can be demonstrated by the trivial details of some trivial event which certain people cling to as “evidence” that they have lived an interesting, DIFFERENT kind of life.

It can also be seen by the number of people who, coming up empty in the unique story department, admit: “I have a boring life.”

Okay THEN: why do so many claim that everyone has a story and that story should be told?

Some observations follow.

1- It is highly likely–since the claim is repeated so often–that “Everybody has a story to tell” is just propaganda.

“But the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over. Here, as so often in this world, persistence is the first and most important requirement for success.”

2- Perhaps the invitation to share a story that one believes to be unique and DIFFERENT is an invitation for the highly-regimented worker bees of society to think of themselves as something other than the drones-living-the-same-lives that they really are?

3- Getting the individual to focus on some aspect of himself (his story) is a step along the path to placing a high value on SELF–and that is a step on the path of SELF worship, which leads to the worship of Satan.

There are other reasons for this invitation for the individual to pass along his story to other moderns becoming a regular part of daily propaganda.

Does the reader believe that everyone has a story to tell?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
