First Time

As they say, “There’s a first time for EVERYTHING.”

And so, a saying very much popular in these parts which has NOT EVER been previously published at ETPR NOW makes its first appearance.

“You can face the tough times better with God holding your hand, than if your hand is empty.”

Not too earth-shaking…

But, if the reader was not familiar with this saying, he IS NOW.

This reminds one of another popular saying (this one during wartime).

“There are no atheists in foxholes.”

The statement “There are no atheists in foxholes” is an aphorism used to argue that in times of extreme stress or fear, such as during war, people will believe in, or hope for, a higher power. The logic of the argument is also used to argue for the opposite.

So, what does the reader think about this?

Has he had an experience in a situation where he knows this to be true?

Does he have any experience with a situation where he knows this is NOT true?

It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

DOES the reader believe he is saved?

DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation
