Prepper or Christian: Make Your Choice

SURVIVOR: Christian prepping?

CHRISTIAN PREPPERS?

Christian preppers gear up for survival

Christian prepper” is a contradiction in terms.

REAL Christians rely on God, not guns, groceries or gold–or any other physical goods they depend on to see them through what’s soon to come to pass.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
–Proverbs 3:5

Preppers/survivalists rely on their foresight, their skills, their “stash” of various worldly goods laid up; in short, themselves.

“He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool”
–Proverbs 28:26

This is just one more end times choice which has to be made.

One can depend on God Almighty to keep him safe through the coming chaos and tribulation.

OR

One can rely on one’s self to survive.

It’s one or the other.

There is no middle ground.

The only compromise possible between the two is in the deceived and deluded mind.

Is the reader relying upon himself, his wisdom and the endless amounts of lists he’s compiled of what he will need?

it is not yet too late to repent (change directions) and throw oneself on the mercy of Jesus Christ.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
2 Corinthians 4:3

  1. Normally I agree with you, but in this case we must take the example of Joseph and the interpretation of Pharoah’s dream. It is not a bad idea to ‘prep’ – at least if you are prepared (even just for a bad Winter) you will be able to be a blessing to others.

    1. selahministries2015,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.

Yes, Joseph and Pharaoh’s dream is one of the most popular verses in the Bible for preppers.

However, Joseph’s interpretation was a one-time, very specific incident.

If each and every prepper was given a specific dream (and after testing, determined the dream was from God Himself), then there would be more validity to this notion.

Once more, thank you for your comment.
