“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming; Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders”

From time-to-time over the past twelve years, a number of proposals have been received which claim that the “antichrist” is living in Washington, DC in the Oval Office.
What started out as a riverlet of claims about George W. Bush being the antichrist turned into a tsunami of speculation when Barack Obama took office. Truly, Barack Obama inspired a legion of people who accused him of being the “antichrist.”
Throughout his 3+ years in office, Donald Trump has lagged behind both Bush II and Obama in antichrist accusations–perhaps because one has a hard time imagining Donald Trump taking any job seriously, particularly the end times role of the man of sin.
So, to all those who propose that Donald Trump is the man of sin:
NO, he is NOT.
The same line of reasoning explained to the Bush and Obama finger-pointers applies to those who nominate Donald Trump as the man of sin.
THE MAN OF SIN WILL BE WILDLY POPULAR.
Hard to say that Donald Trump is popular with ANYONE.
Also, the man of sin (according to the Bible) will rise from the middle of the worldly church.
Donald Trump’s relationship with churches was so casual, he became the subject of late night comic’s jokes when he ran in 2016.
“We’re one week away from the Iowa caucuses and all the candidates are doing whatever they can to appeal to voters. Donald Trump even went to a church service in Iowa over the weekend. You can tell he doesn’t go to church much because he was like, ‘I really like the part where they passed me the basket of free money.’”

ONE MORE REASON
The Bible CLEARLY says that the man of sin will be revealed (not that the vast majority of those who dwell upon the earth at the time will note the revelation–otherwise, they would not follow after the man of sin).
There will be NO need to speculate or otherwise burn the midnight oil on the matter.
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition”
–2THESSALONIANS 2:3
FINALLY
The man of sin is also called the false prophet (false Messiah) in the Bible.
“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
–Revelation 16:13-14
“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
–Revelation 20:10
Hard to imagine Donald Trump being labeled as ANY type of prophet–even by those who depend on Trump for their living.
There are a number of other reasons from the Bible for the man of sin NOT being a US president.
Readers are invited to look for those other reasons if ever they are tempted to accuse a US president of being the man of sin.
DOES the reader believe the man of sin will be a political leader the reader does not like or agree with?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
