God’s Promises to the End Times Christian

God's promises

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
–Philippians 4:19

The Bible contains a GREAT MANY wonderful promises by God to his own.

It ALSO contains a few promises which demonstrate why so few have the faith to cross to God’s side.

Does the reader believe he is a Christian?

Does the reader suffer persecution, tribulation and the hatred of the world?

IF the answer is NO or is unclear, perhaps the reader might want to reevaluate his standing with Jesus Christ?

One end times promise is that believers SHALL suffer persecution

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
–2TIMOTHY 3:12

One can easily understand why this promise makes someone who is casually acquainted with the truth uncomfortable.

A second promise is that believers MUST experience MUCH tribulation to enter heaven.

“Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”
–Acts 14:22

A third promise is that believers will be HATED by the rest of men; by the entire world.

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.”
–Luke 21:17

“I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”
–John 17:14

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”
–Matthew 10:22

SO, although the believer is promised many WONDERFUL things–both in this life and the next–the believer is also PROMISED persecution, tribulation and the hatred of all men–particularly as the day of the return of Jesus Christ draws ever nearer.

One can easily understand why the timid are so scared of becoming believers.

HAS the reader experienced the end times promises of God?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
