“for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth;”

America, far from being the Most Christian Nation in the World™, has always specialized in turning vice into virtue, sin into something to be desired.
Take pride. It is clearly a sin–and one of Satan’s favorites. It was pride which got Lucifer thrown out of heaven.
But in America?
Pride has become a badge of honor; something desired; a way of life.
AMERICAN PRIDE: What Does the Bible Say?
And so, in America, imagination has become a thing to be desired.
What does the Bible say about imagination?
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
–2 Corinthians 10:5
“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”
–Genesis 11:6 (referring to the Tower of Babel)
“But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.”
—Jeremiah 7:24
“An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,”
–Proverbs 6:18
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
—Genesis 6:5
“Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart:”

There are more–but the reader gets the idea, right?
No matter how many times talking heads on TV insist otherwise; no matter how many times wolves in the pulpit preach it; no matter how many times we are exhorted by the world to “Use your imagination!”: imagination is NOT a good thing according to the Bible.
“He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.”
