“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.”
–Revelation 16:1-12, 17-18
ANYONE who is familiar with the Bible’s account of the last days before the return of Jesus Christ AND who knows someone who sets great store on their ROUTINE has to conclude that the last days will be VERY HARD on all those who have put their faith in being organized and maintaining a routine.
The reader is SURELY acquainted with at least ONE person who lives his life guided by the motto, “A place for everything and everything in its place“?
So many KNOW a person who finds comfort in the familiar–and has established his ROUTINE to maximize that comfort.
This person’s desire to keep things neatly stacked, however, will run up against the CHAOS which the Bible declares will be present during the days preceding the climax of human history (the return of Jesus Christ).
It is HARD to maintain an organized life of routine during periods of EXTREME CHAOS–the uproar surrounding the events and non-events of the COVID-19 ‘pandemic’ are surely evidence of this–and the last days are a time of EXTREME CHAOS.
Some of this chaos is caused by MAN–particularly those men who believe they control the earth–as familiar ways of doing things are exchanged for NEW WAYS of doing things. In order to implement NEW SYSTEMS necessary for worldwide control, these men will decree CHANGE of the old for the new–and these changes will not allow much room for those who value their routines.
Much of the CHAOS will be the result of God, however.
As God pours out judgment and wrath upon his creation (which has largely become wicked and anti-God), CHAOS and upheaval will be the new order.
Some might pose the question, “What does God have against neatniks? I’ve ALWAYS been someone who preferred order to chaos and the Bible says that God is NOT a god of confusion!”
God does NOT have ANYTHING against those who desire order because they desire order and neatness. It is STRONGLY suspected that God will question ALL who think order and neatness is a virtue that is above all others.
In other words: there is NOTHING in God’s Word about order and neatness being a prime (or even a non-prime) consideration for eternal judgment. The end times are about God settling matters with man, the world, Satan, and anyone else who believes they know BETTER than God how God’s creation should be ordered.
And, as the world popularly points out, “To make an omelet, you have to break a few eggs.”
Hence the chaos and upheaval which will be a feature of the last days.
This will prove to be TOUGH on that person who relies on their first morning cup of coffee and their newspaper to start their day.
Number One: such a person will likely not be able to AFFORD coffee.
Number Two: IF such a person was SOMEHOW able to afford coffee, he most likely would not find a place willing to sell him coffee–unless he was pre-approved and his payment was judged to be appropriate.
However, the CHAOS unleashed by God’s judgments will more greatly affect a person’s ability to maintain the comfort of his routines.
“And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.”
–Revelation 16:18,20
So, IF the reader is one of those who is highly-organized and filled with the comfort of ROUTINE, the last days will be very hard.
SOME of this chaos is caused by man’s desire to control God’s creation.
Of course, most of this upheaval and chaos is caused by God showing man who is REALLY the boss of that creation.
DOES the reader value any ROUTINES?
DO those routines bring him a sense of comfort?
It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
