During the End Times, There Will Still Be a Sunny Day or Two

always sunny

Yes, on the day Jesus Christ returns to earth, (according to God’s Word) it will be mostly overcast.

“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains”
–Joel 2:1-2

And God’s Word has more than one reference to what it will look like on that day Jesus returns.

“The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness”
–Zephaniah 1:14-15

”Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.”
–Amos 5:18

“For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.”
–Ezekiel 30:3

“Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”
–Isaiah 13:6-11

NOW, the preceding information was offered because sometimes a reminder is needed.

During the last days, NOT every day is overcast and dark.

During the last days, NOT every day is gloomy.

During the last days, NOT every day is the day of the LORD.

USUALLY, folks do NOT have to   be reminded of the little GOOD or pleasant things in life.

BUT, occasionally they do.

Particularly if the churches and end times Bible teachers emphasize the doom and gloom of the last days.

Oh, it will be hard enough to miss the doom, gloom and chaos of the last days.

BUT, the reader can let this serve as a reminder:

During the last days, there are sunny days as well.

And those days are a gift from the Creator-of-ALL: God.

So, the reader should NOT forget that there are a FEW pleasantries even among the last days.

The reader SHOULD enjoy those few pleasantries because there will NOT be a whole lot of them.

Again, there will be sunny days leading  up to the end AND those sunny days are a gift from a merciful and loving God.

This has been a reminder.

WHAT does the reader think about the little pleasantries of life which are enjoyed during times of EXTREME trouble?

It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
