The Gospel is Hidden to Those who are Lost
THE END TIMES WORLD IS A DARK, DARK PLACE. JESUS IS THE LIGHT.
The world–particularly the end times world–is a dark, dark place.
The darkness is caused by DECEPTION.
“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”
–1JOHN 5:19
[One of the deceptions is the Satan-approved Bible translations which change 1JOHN 5:19 from “the whole world lieth in wickedness.” to “the whole world lies in the Wicked One.” But ANYONE who has studied the verse in the original Greek KNOWS that the original KJV translation is the CORRECT ONE.]
“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”

LABOR DAY
Monday, September 4, 2023 is Labor Day.
A few thoughts for Labor Day present.
Labor Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday in September to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the works and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements of the United States.
Beginning in the late 19th century, as the trade union and labor movements grew, trade unionists proposed that a day be set aside to celebrate labor. “Labor Day” was promoted by the Central Labor Union and the Knights of Labor, which organized the first parade in New York City. In 1887, Oregon was the first state of the United States to make it an official public holiday. By the time it became an official federal holiday in 1894, thirty states in the U.S. officially celebrated Labor Day.

ETPR HIATUS 2023
An account of many changes during August-September 2023 at ETPR.
It all began by noticing that ETPR had NOT missed a day on which we published something for YEARS–since 2017, to be exact.
Back in 2017, we got hit by a truck and our regularly-scheduled articles took a beating until we got out of the I.C.U. Since then, we have been on schedule. (That’s almost seven years!)
SO, it was decided to take a few days off.
BUT, as Robert Burns put it in his classic, To A Mouse,
The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men
Gang aft agley,
TRANSLATION: “The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.”
AND SO IT WAS THAT UNFORESEEN EVENTS AROSE.
No Big Deal: we’ll just extend our planned hiatus.
BUT the ‘unforeseen events’ were great and unlooked-for.
SO, this is to inform readers ETPR will return to normal sometime around the third or fourth week of September with an abbreviated schedule.
