The media did not try to contain their gleeful enthusiasm for such a messy spectacle that would portray Republicans as dopey rubes who had been led over a cliff by an orange-haired, political pied piper.
A narrative about the many other narratives written about Donald Trump, attempting to paint a picture of “Trump vs the Media”–which would only work IF Donald Trump wasn’t a creation of that same media which the author claims disparages him.
One cannot accept BILLIONS of free advertising from the media and then whine/claim that same media is “out to get me.”
Still, that hasn’t stopped the shameless purveyors of Trump narratives up to this point.
While Trump has benefited from continuous media coverage over the past 12-15 months, Clinton has received such coverage for years. It is the ONLY reason some believe her to be popular.

It’s this writer’s experience that people moan and complain about how “ignorant,” “stupid” or “misinfomed” this current generation of young Americans are.
But is it their fault if they are mis-educated?
The “dumbing down” of Americans started 50 years ago in earnest. The results have led to the current crop of young Americans, many who are mis-educated to the hilt. Which means that they have been purposely taught a great many thing that are just not so.
Two recent examples of mis-education follow.
1- ANCIENT “MYSTERIES”
Embedded anomalies – This is a wonderful example of the chicanery which passes for knowledge in the world of “ancient mysteries.” But it’s not honest ignorance; rather, it’s intentional.
The article has a good premise: compile a list of man-made artifacts which have turned up embedded in rocks. That’s a great premise. Where the article goes horribly wrong is when it mixes the same old-same old deceptions which attempt to generate a cloud of “mystery” for the reader. For example, the very first listing:
1572 From the Archives of Madrid a letter dated 1572, comes the account of the Spanish Viceroy in Peru and a strange artifact, which came into his possession. A perfect six-inch nail was later presented to the Viceroy as a souvenir, who had it thoroughly examined, and verified it was found in rock dated to 75,000 to 100,000 years in age.
The good info: around 1572, a perfect six-inch nail was presented to the Viceroy of Peru. The nail was embedded in a rock. So far, so good. But then, “the Viceroy…had it thoroughly examined, and verified it was found in rock dated to 75,000 to 100,000 years in age.”

Oh, really?
So what exactly was the method used to determine the rock was “75,000 to 100,000 years-old? Answer: someone (either the Viceroy’s guys or the author of this piece) picked a number. The primary dating method in 1572 was “I say so.” Maybe they threw darts at a board? Maybe they drew a number out of a hat? Perhaps they used a similar method? Other than guessing, there simply was no way of telling how old that rock was.
One explanation: (and one suspects the motivation behind such pieces as this) The pre-flood civilizations were MUCH MORE developed than they receive credit. The tightly-controlled history and science fed to the public absolutely does not want to entertain how far advanced the antediluvian civilizations’ were. That would open up a VERY LARGE can of worms. Genesis 6:5 says about such civilizations:
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
The people of these civilizations are depicted in popular culture as little better than savages. But is that true? What of all the ruins found in shallow continental waters of ancient civilizations which used technologies for cutting and moving large slabs of rock which modern man still can’t move with his “cutting-edge” modern machines? What of the same phenomena discovered in Peru, the Middle East and in Micronesia? Are they all mysteries–or are they hundreds of clues to the level of advancement of those pre-flood civilizations?
What we sometimes forget is that man at that time was a relatively recent creation of God, given a perfect brain and an immense life span. Imagine if everyone in your neighborhood was as smart as Einstein, as clever as Galileo, and as observant as Newton. Add to this nearly 1,000 years to learn, to experiment, and to increase knowledge. What could be invented?
The author of Embedded anomalies throws around “300 million-years-old” and “400 million-years-old” like he understands what those figures mean. Man’s current technology is not the be-all, end-all of human achievement it is held up to be. As more and more artifacts from man’s past come to light, they have to be explained away somehow. One might think that the sheer number of these “mysteries” might prompt science to re-examine its 1- methods of dating (which are examples of circular reasoning) or 2- come up with a better explanation than “We don’t have a clue! It’s a MYSTERY!”
But that would be assuming that science is an honest broker and genuinely interested in revealing the truth of the matter instead of following a clearly-evident agenda.
This has given birth to the “Gee, what we have here is a mystery, fellows!” school of science. The linked piece lists a great many of the examples of this school from among the hundreds that exist. It has actually spawned a small cottage industry–books, DVDs, films lectures are all offered on these “mysteries.”
What a racket.

But how many young people–or older ones as well–particularly those hungry for knowledge, slurp up such articles and believe the “facts” it presents as gospel truth? The Internet is littered with websites dedicated to “Amazing Facts” or “Incredible Facts” where many of the “facts” presented are nothing of the sort.

2- CIVIL WAR DEATHS
This next example is more a case of straight changing of data malfeasance. There is no sly methods employed here.
U.S. Casualties in WWI – There’s something very wrong about his chart offered by PBS–the good folks who gobble down tax dollars in order to construct such nonsense. The deaths claims to be a list of battle casualties in various U.S. wars.
Battle deaths for the Civil War are listed as “140,414.” This is simply not true. It’s not even close.
A check for CivilWar.org shows the correct figure: “over 620,000 deaths lost in the line of duty.” The site also informs the reader
The numbers of Civil War dead were not equaled by the combined toll of other American conflicts until the War in Vietnam. Some believe the number is as high as 850,000. The Civil War Trust does not agree with this claim.
But the number of men who lost their lives during the Civil War was well over half-million Americans. That’s a figure which sticks in one’s mind–which is why the PBS figure was immediately questioned. But in PBS’s defense, see how they worded the death count: “Battle deaths.” Since we know that over 110,000 men from the Confederacy alone died “in action” (killed in the actual battle or from wounds received in battle), this still doesn’t sound right.
The presumption is that PBS only used the numbers of men who actually were killed on the battlefield at the time the battle was taken place. But then a look at the casualty figures given by PBS is 646,392. This is the number of men PBS says were killed, wounded or missing. Where did PBS count the rest of the Civil War dead?
Answer: it didn’t.
Why it did not is the stuff that speculation is made of. It can’t be a mistake. There are still too many many (mostly–all?) places which list the correct totals. When deceivers are caught in their lies, the first things the deceivers in the media/government do is point to incompetence. But this goes beyond incompetence. This enters into the realm of re-making history. Which just happens to be the theme of this piece.
PBS remakes a little bit of history over here. Someone else remakes a little bit of history over there–and before you know it. Voila! A completely new history is established!
The ones involved know what they did. But the larger question is: how many people who stumbled across the PBS figures now believe these bogus figures? This would include most young people, but also older ones who have no background in history.
This is how history gets rewritten.
One piece at a time.
In this case, one PBS piece; one taxpayer-sponsored piece at a time.
And our current generation is just a little more ignorant because of it.

EVERY FALSE RELIGION GETS ONE OR TWO THINGS RIGHT
Every false religion gets one or two things right.
IF they didn’t, they would not have many followers.
Some point to their “holy style of living.”
Some focus on acting out their corrupted, twisted meaning of a Bible verse.
Many point to their “good works” as proof they are righteous–even the Freemasons and Shriners.
The witches are into nature and “natural things.”
Some want points because they don’t eat meat.
Others become hermits or publicly starve themselves as proof they are spiritual.
Still others gather weekly in temples made with hands to sing, listen to wolves and feel justified.
Even the Satanists have a few tenets which “make sense” to many.
Every single false religion has one or two points they use to sell themselves to the unwary. None have the way to life; many concentrate on the things of this world or on making this world a better place.
And in the end times, the deception only grows thicker and more dark and harder to see through.

Could the reader have imagined only 10 years ago that such nonsense would be not only be written about seriously, but BELIEVED by so many?

They are all on the same team, folks.
Mitch McConnell blocks defund of Planned Parenthood – It doesn’t matter if Republicans are in the majority; it doesn’t matter if Democrats rule: there will ALWAYS be some reason why certain things never get done.
Like Planned Parenthood defunded of taxpayers’ money. Readers with eyes to see should be able to know that will never happen. At least not practically.
Like ObamaCare being repealed (which was a solemn promise by Republicans in 2010).
Like whatever.
And readers can ALWAYS rely on the lying Corporate Media to spin the yarns of WHY things just never seem to get done (regardless of which party is in control of the congress).
Everything is leading to “This system just doesn’t work anymore.”
WHY you can thank low oil prices for cheaper food -Four of the government/media’s biggest lies: food’s cheap, everyone is working, Americans are healthy and the dollar is not worth half as much as it was five years ago.
Meanwhile, the government/media preaches wind and solar power while at the same time warning about the electric grid going down. It’s all manufactured and the reasons will soon become apparent for all who have eyes to see.

MEDIA NARRATIVES ALERT
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
