Three Clues Concerning Propaganda

clue

Regular readers have been informed that they do not have “news” so much as they have advanced, highly-effective propaganda-delivery systems which are claimed to be “news.”

So, we present three clues concerning the propaganda which daily indoctrinates the millions of deceived men.  Hopefully, these three clues will come in handy when the reader is trying to make sense of the “news” he is consuming.

1- It is fairly well-known that propaganda depends a great deal on repetition.

“Only constant repetition will finally succeed in imprinting an idea on the memory of the crowd.”
–Adolf Hitler, Propaganda, the Big Lie and Adolf Hitler: 20 Hitler Quotes on Propaganda

There are certain aspects of modern life which lend themselves to this constant repetition of information: the news, advertising, computer and video games, music and education, to name but a few.

It is a fairly well-known technique for recognizing propaganda to look for any information which is constantly repeated to the public. What is not as well know is that the reader may be able to recognize those points which are MOST IMPORTANT by the increased amount of repetition which occurs.

If the reader sees stories which are published on a daily basis, then the subject of the story is a VERY IMPORTANT point for the public to remember.

“The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.”
–Adolf Hitler, Propaganda, the Big Lie and Adolf Hitler: 20 Hitler Quotes on Propaganda

The more important it is for the public to remember a story, the more often that story will be told–and that story may told by the media, entertainment, education, even crossword puzzles may be used.

2- IF the reader sees the media constantly repeating a story which may be ten, twenty, even 100-years-old, then chances are good that the story is nothing more than propaganda.

Does the reader know of any stories regularly featured in media or entertainment which are about events which happened twenty, fifty or 100 years ago?

(It doesn’t matter what the excuse may be for running such older stories; as long as the basic claims of the story are repeated. It also doesn’t matter if the author of the story claims to be opposed to the popular view or has “new information“: as long as the basics of the story are repeated, the story is propaganda.)

It does NOT matter how long ago the events of a story happened: if the story is repeated and repeated constantly, it is propaganda.

This is the reason so much history is constantly repeated.

“History is a set of lies agreed upon.”
Napoleon Bonaparte

3- IF the reader sees the basics of the story repeated across more than one type of delivery system, then those points are not only propaganda: they are IMPORTANT propaganda.

Does the reader see a story in the new media, then the scientific media, then a movie (or two) is produced about the subject, then a video or computer game (or two or three) is created, then the story “goes viral” on social media,  then ads which feature the theme of the story?

Then the story is an IMPORTANT one to those who control the world that we live in.

For example: first, some information is released about “Mars;” then, a movie or TV show features Mars; then, music with lyrics about settling on Mars is released; then, games about getting to Mars; then, a number of websites and/or social media groups appear which focus on Mars; then perhaps even advertisements appear which feature vacations or tourist trips to Mars.

IF the information crosses over into more than one medium, then the information is IMPORTANT PROPAGANDA.

So now the reader knows.

DOES the reader depend on the various “news” organizations to stay informed?

DOES the reader ever closely examine the stories which appear as “news”?

DOES the reader really care if he is deceived or not?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
