We can know the Bible is speaking specifically about church folk and those who control the churches as the worldly man is not generally interested in Christian doctrine or appearing as if he had sheep’s clothing.

CORRUPTING WHAT WAS ONCE GOOD

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Regardless of what corner of it one inhabits, this old world is very much a force for corruption.

God’s Word informs the reader–more than once–that the world is a source of wickedness and is an enemy of God.

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
1JOHN 2:15

The admonition in James 4 is even more clear.

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
James 4:4

AND, it is not only the world which is a source of corruption: this moral erosion extends to the baubles, bangles and shiny things of the world as well. In fact, the three sources of SIN can trace their way back to to being a part of the world.

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
1JOHN 2:16

NOW, the reader may very well have heard all of this before–particularly if he frequents the Sunday social clubs we call the churches. BUT, the reader may NOT be aware that the world is such a spiritually corrosive influence that it corrupts ALL that live in it.

(Except for the Son of God Himself, Jesus Christ: who was without sin.)

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
Hebrews 4:15

Which leads to the topic of this piece: The world not only corrupts those who acts foolishly and wickedly, it corrupt those who once were a force for good in this world.

This can be illustrated by either of two BIG examples of the world at work on those who were once a force for good.

The first example is the oldest.

And it is the Hebrews.

Yes, at one time they were referred to as “God’s people.” But, the reader should remember that there were MANY among the Hebrews who chaffed at God’s direction from the beginning: in the wilderness after they were brought out of Egypt. God, at various times sent His prophets to EXPRESSLY warn the Hebrews to change their ways–however, just like today: a few would heed what God’s prophet told them, while the rest ignored the warnings.

And God Himself was VERY aware that those He trusted to teach the world of His Holiness mostly fell short.

“And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.”
–Ezekiel 2:3

“Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.”
–Isaiah 30: 8-11

God’s Son, Jesus Christ, was killed by the sons and daughters of those rebellious Hebrews (in their lust for earthly power and control) years later. Jesus warned that their descendants would work extreme mischief in the last days. He called these Hebrews–who talked the talk of the Jews and had all of the OUTER signs which the deceived look for–the “synagouge of Satan.”

“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”
–Revelation 2:9

“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”
–Revelation 3:9

NOW, in their defense: God knew that the world He created would be a VERY corrupting influence. It was part of His plan to find a people who wanted to called Him “God.”

BUT, on the others side of the argument, the Hebrews had first-hand knowledge of the Holy One of Israel. The rest of the world only HEARD accounts of God and His unlimited power.

“What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.”
–Romans 3:1-2

And so the Hebrews are the FIRST example of, what was a force for good being corrupted by the world and the things of the world.

The SECOND example may be a little more familiar to the reader: it is the CHURCHES which inhabit every city, town and rural hamlet in the world.

What started out CENTURIES ago as the Church (of Jesus Christ), became a part of the corrupted world system–again a victim of man’s lust for power and control.

NOW, there are still a FEW who hold to the precepts of God, just as there ALWAYS has been.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
–Matthew 7:13-14

But the FEW are the exception and really do not fit in anywhere in the world–even in the churches which claim to be the home of goodness and light.

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.”
–Luke 21:17

There has been MUCH already written about the churches and the tares inhabiting those buildings.

But, once again, those in the churches–and those buildings contain a great many who, for one reason or another, are concerned with being ‘good’–were once a force for good which has been drug down and corrupted by the world.

NOW, the few who are members of the REAL Church?

Like always, they are loners, waiting anxiously for the Son of God to make his return; maintaining small outposts in enemy territory, throughout the world.

And ALL are VERY mindful of the world’s corrupting influence on those who would do good.

TODAY’S “FEUDS”

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?

IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.

What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”

One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.

Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”

Oh–and pro wrestling…

One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well. Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.

Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?” —-University of Satan

A FAKE AND FRAUDULENT EXPERIENCE

When the fake, false and fraudulent become the norm, then one can know he is living in the end times.

Sola Experienca is for Real – Many American church-goers hunger for an experience; hunger for a “move of God” OR a “move of the Spirit.”

Churches have become arenas for showcasing the latest experiences. The Word of God has become boring to these people–though most would never admit it publicly.

To admit it is to admit what they do operates from a spirit of antichrist.

They claim to seek the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit is already present in each believer; that is clear from any number of Scripture.

So what else can be drawn from all this?

Those looking for such experiences are NOT Christians: the spirit they come in contact with is NOT the Holy Spirit.

What they DO get is acquainted with seducing, deceptive spirits.

It’s all about the EXPERIENCE; all about the emotion; all about the “move of the spirit.” Humans love excitement and these spirits offer goosebumps.

The churches are selling an antichrist experience to the lost because neither know the truth.

Meanwhile, the churches refuse to preach the gospel but offer very clever-looking–but powerless–counterfeit substitutes. The churches can do this because their members do not know the gospel and accept whatever they are told by the wolves in their pulpits.

And that’s exactly as God’s Word declares it will be.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof”
–2Timothy 3:1,5

FIVE YEARS AGO

FAKE AND FRAUDULENT COUNTERFEITS

“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”
–Titus 1:16

The fake and fraudulent Christian is seemingly everywhere in the last days.

But “fake” is what is expected by most people because they know no better.

Because the churches are so full of such folk, the counterfeit has become normalized. Because the tares move so easily among others of their kind AND the lost, they assume no one sees them.

“Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?”
–Isaiah 29:15

And many tares do not know they are lost counterfeits.

IF ONLY the counterfeits knew: they give themselves away in any of dozens of ways.

Oh, some are more clever than others, but all are brutally exposed by the Holy Spirit.

Men and their spirits can fool men, but they cannot fool the Spirit of Truth. Because they are of the world, their speech reeks of the world.

To be honest: there are days when their dishonesty is annoying.

Still, believers do not wrestle against flesh and blood.

And believers are commanded to try and save the counterfeits before it’s too late for them.

“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”
–Jude 1:23

Pray for the lost.

But most of all: pray for those who pretend to be something they clearly are not.

Pray for them who do not know they are lost.

Pray for all men.

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men”
–1TIMOTHY 2:1

The time of the tares is almost upon us. Pray that they escape from what they deceptively believe to be safety before the door of their doom slams shut for eternity.

“They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.”
–1John 4:5-6
