A great way to know that we are in the last days is the total ubiquity of occult symbols in almost every aspect of modern life.
Whether it is occult hand signs flashed by the wolves in the pulpits and celebrities every chance they get on TV OR the dragon sign of 666, occult symbols and signs are everywhere in the modern culture.
One sign of the times in which we now live: the appearing of 666 seemingly everywhere in popular culture.
It is in popular movies.
In popular TV series.
On the Internet.
In the logos of many large, well-known corporations.
666 has for years figured prominently in the promotion of many rock music, rock bands and entire genres of such music.
But 666 has become mainstream: even featured in the advertising of many highly-promoted every day products.
It is woven into many of the mass-produced daily goods which adorn households everywhere: napkin holders, decorative wall-coverings, candle holders, picture frames, and especially in many types of decorative motifs and backgrounds.

These occult symbols are signs of allegiance–as well as methods of accessing the parlor tricks of evil spirits (demons).
Because they show allegiance to the enemies of God and His Son, Jesus Christ, such occult symbols are signs of rebellion against the kingdom of heaven.
Which makes them a good fit for a land which was born of rebellion and which prizes rebellion, revolution and revolt above almost any other value.
In fact, the United States has always taken pride (another sin) in its history of rebellion.

There are some who believe that the USA was at one time a “Christian nation.”
The United States was NEVER a Christian nation. The USA WAS designed to look like a Christian nation–as long as one did not look too closely.
The United States was founded on rebellion against the civil authorities. Rebellion, revolution and revolt against the “higher powers” is a grievous sin against God.
Rebellion, revolution and revolt against the government is rebellion against God.
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.”
–Romans 13:1-2
“Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.”

“By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.”
–Proverbs 8:15-16
Signs and symbols of rebellion are almost everywhere in public in a land which values rebellion.
And so, the reward of rebellion is what the citizens of that land shall have.
“An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.”

DOES the reader believe that “tyranny” demands rebellion?
WHY then does the reader place more emphasis on what the USA’s “founding fathers” have to say than what God’s Word has to say?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
