Regardless of the REAL date of Jesus birth and its coinciding with Christmas, Christmas time DOES appear to soften the ways of men in this hard, hard world.
The arguments FOR this point of view are largely subjective. However, that does NOT mean those arguments are invalid.
Perhaps the reader has observed some of the same behaviors and can compare those during Christmas time and with those the rest of the year?
1- What man can tell WHY folks seem to soften their ways around Christmas? Maybe it is sparked by a long-ago memory of a happy time during Christmas time? Maybe it is a time remembered when one’s family unit BEHAVED as if they were a family? Maybe it is just a opportunity for those who have hardened their hearts to unharden them?
An acquaintance was picking up a fast food order the other day and as he went to slide his card to pay for it, a man came up to him and told him to ‘put his card away. It was already taken care of.’ The man not only paid the acquaintance’s food tab, he gave him a $40 gift card for the restaurant as well.
Who knows why the man did this? But it was done during Christmas time, so that season will get the blame for the man’s actions.
A short discussion on GIVING as had last week and it was pointed out that it was probably better to give directly to a person in need than use a middleman (charity organization). The response stuck in one’s mind afterwards.
“As long as that person (in need) IS given something.”
While waiting in line to pay for a cup of coffee, when one approached the window where you pay, the lady informed that the car in front had already paid for this order. The lady in the car in front paid for the order BECAUSE the car in front of her paid for HER order.
All of this took place at Christmas time.
2- Folks appear to SMILE more often during the Christmas season. Yes, this is HIGHLY subjective: has the reader noticed anything similar?
3- What makes acts of randomized giving stand out EVEN MORE is that they have happened during a Christmas time of want. Though, the economy has had its problems, people STILL want to open their wallets a little during Christmas time–even when times are not so good.
4- Even if it is only LIP SERVICE, folks’ talk-talk softens and becomes more cheery during the Christmas holidays. Perhaps this is brought about by the massive amount of GOOD THOUGHTS running through the heads of other folks who surround those who voice cheerful words? Perhaps not.
These are a few of the reasons Christmas time has been noticed as an agent to soften the normally-hard hearts of men.

It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE END TIMES WORLD IS A DARK, DARK PLACE. JESUS IS THE LIGHT.
The world–particularly the end times world–is a dark, dark place.
The darkness is caused by DECEPTION.

YULE COMES BUT ONCE A YEAR AND WHEN IT COMES, IT BRINGS PAGAN CHEER
The pagan season of YULE is once more upon us and it is a time of pagan celebration.
YULE was ORIGINALLY largely observed by the Germanic people, including Scandinavians.
Yule is the modern version of Old NorseJól and Jólnir one of the names for Odin. The Old English derivates ġēol or ġēohol and ġēola or ġēoli, indicates the 12-day festival of “Yule” and the latter indicating the month of “Yule”, whereby ǣrra ġēola referred to the period before the Yule festival (December) and æftera ġēola referred to the period after Yule (January).
Many of the so-called “Christmas traditions” have come down to us from pagan YULE celebrations.
Particularly in America, the pagan YULE and CHRISTMAS are holiday seasons intermingled to such a degree as to be almost indistinguishable one from the other.
However, modern pagans do NOT appear to be quite as focused on BLOOD as their ancestors.

To many Americans, the word ‘YULE’ is used interchangeably with the word ‘CHRISTMAS.’
Many of the traditions thought of by occasional Christians as CHRISTMAS traditions originated with the pagan season of YULE.
The traditions of the Yule log, Yule goat, Yule boar (Sonargöltr, still reflected in the Christmas ham), Yule singing, and others possibly have connections to pre-Christian Yule customs, which Simek says “indicates the significance of the feast in pre-Christian times.”
In most forms of Wicca, this holiday is celebrated at the winter solstice as the rebirth of the Great horned hunter god, who is viewed as the newborn solstice sun. The method of gathering for this sabbat varies by practitioner. Some have private ceremonies at home, while others do so with their covens.
Commercially, there is little difference between YULE and CHRISTMAS. Both holidays are promoted by the Corporate Media and the media helps contribute to the confusion between the two events by their usage of YULE and CHRISTMAS as if they were the same exact thing.
Does the reader believe that there is little difference between Christmas time and the season of Yule?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. “Journalists” are story-tellers. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes, there is an element of truth in their stories, but truth is not a requirement of what they do.

Forget for a moment that ALL narratives are “fact-based” (Except for those about outer space, aliens, ETs and alien invasions.).
Hayden knows Trump is not yet president, but then, that’s part of the narrative he’s pushing.
Again, the most effective stories/narratives/lies are those which mingle fact and fiction.

During the past few weeks, a quite spirited discussion has broken out on the topic of “Where are we in the end times–IF we are in the end times?”
2- The world is deceptive and getting worse by the day.
3- There are still prophecies of the end times left to be fulfilled.
Several points were vigorously disputed.
Mankind will know when the very last days before the return of Jesus Christ will occur.
A- One point of view was that man will know the time immediately before the return of Jesus Christ from the prophetic events recorded in the Book of Revelation.
B- Another point of view was that mankind will be so deceived, none will know anything except what they are told by the dragon and the man of sin. Mankind will certainly not believe God’s Word, even though they will see the events unfold with their own eyes: such is the power of deception.
4- Generally, it was agreed that BELIEVERS will know the times, due to the presence of the Holy Spirit, who will lead them into all truth.
However, it was pointed out that while the Holy Spirit will lead the believer into all truth, the believer has to be WILLING to be led. The Holy Spirit will not force the believer into believing the truth.
5- Mankind will know the end is near from the many events recorded in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 17 and 21 and the Book of Revelation (as well as several Old Testament prophecies).
Mankind will NOT know the end is near because mankind hates Jesus Christ and His followers so vehemently, their reasoning and vision will be clouded.
6- We are living on the edge of the very last days. Most of the events detailed in Revelation could take place in a matter of months, weeks or days. This includes the institution of the one-world government (which some believe to be already in place, if not yet made known publicly).
We may be living on the edge of the very last days, but it makes no difference due to man’s wicked heart and the ubiquitous deception present in the world. Most of mankind is enmeshed in an entirely different version–their own deceived version–of reality. This deceived, false reality is fed by the world and all of the world’s authorities.
