DOES IT GET ANY BETTER?

A slogan popular with end times believers goes something like this:
“It doesn’t get any better. It only gets worse.”
And those words are an accurate description of much that takes place during the last days. BUT, are they true?
This question was entertained recently and the general conclusion was that Yes, those words are TRUE–but they need a little context to reveal the whole end times picture.
From what is written in God’s Word, it appears that there are three distinct groups of individuals in the end times.
- The believers, the servants of God, those in the kingdom of heaven: For those blessed FEW, it DOES get worse–much worse–but then, upon the return of Jesus Christ, it gets so much better, the previous, grievous heartbreaks are soon forgotten.
- The vast majority of the multitude of men: It gets progressively worse–ALTHOUGH, those in power will tell those who are basically their slaves that they have never had it so good. And, there will be some improvements, mostly brought about by the workers of iniquity working to improve conditions, here and there, instead of worsening them. Truly, it never does get any better for this great mass of mankind.
- The small group who control events, the rich, wicked and celebrated, and those workers of iniquity who have risen up through the ranks: For a VERY short time period, they believe they are sitting in high cotton. They control the riches of the world–UNTIL God’s judgment begin discomfiting them. For this group which has placed ALL of their eggs in Satan’s basket, it gets better for a very short time. BUT then, it gets worse–and then, it gets MUCH worse. It never gets any better throughout eternity.

One quality of the truth is its timelessness: the truth is eternal in nature.

And really: what is more exciting than manufactured drama?
And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?
Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fakYoung maskless revelers pack Washington Square Park in Manhattan AGAIN after Governor Cuomo slammed NYU and NYPD for not doing enough to crack down on the massive partiese “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

WAIT ON THE LORD
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

One instruction which believers are given in God’s Word is TO WAIT ON THE LORD.
Now, man being a being who is normally very concerned with time, does not like to wait: man is impatient.
One evidence of this is repeated in the churches.
From the time this writer first became a Christian, he heard an odd bit of advice from other church-goers.
“Don’t pray for patience or the Good Lord will give it to you!”
This advice was echoed in a recent article.

The article was particularly unbiblical about patience. A few observations about this particularly noxious bit of antichrist propaganda.

The advice in Psalm 27:14 seems clear enough: wait for the LORD to do His thing. God’s schedule is NOT the same as man’s schedule.
Give the LORD time to work.
BUT, down through the years, Bible commentators seem to make the many verses in God’s Word about ‘waiting on the LORD’ about ANYTHING but patience and waiting.
The Family Bible Notes offers just one example.
Wait on the Lord; by prayer and supplication, and in the use of all the appointed means of grace.
Waiting upon the Lord in the way of his appointment, his people will renew their strength, will mount up on wings as eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint.
But the BIble itself seems VERY clear on the matter. Psalm 37 even mentions ‘wait patiently.’
“Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.”

Yes, man is impatient–but it is said that “Good things come to those who wait.” Though that bit of advice is NOT found in God’s Word, there are many promises made to those who wait on the LORD.
“For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.”

“…and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me. “

“Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.”

So, if the reader has recently prayed for something,
1 Relax;
2 Take your shoes off;
3 Put your feet up;
4 Wait on the LORD.
All in good time.
On God’s schedule, not man’s.

How many times has the reader overheard someone say, “He (or she) wasn’t that great.”
The person making the remark can be referring to anything from a first date to a handyman putting in a new closet to an intimate act.
“He (or she) wasn’t that great.”
Regardless of HOW MANY TIMES the reader has heard these words spoken, the very clear takeaway is one of DISAPPOINTMENT; of not being satisfied with the other person for some reason.
How many times has the reader overheard those words spoken and then thought to himself, “IF ONLY that person had reached that conclusion BEFORE involving the other person.“?

The Secret City – In 1942, the US government began a project which included over 60,000 acres of land, hundreds of thousands of Americans, years of secret dealings, the construction of “secret towns,” all which resulted in the announcement of an atomic bomb.
Yet, daily the reader is told by the Corporate Media that only lesser minds believe in secret government conspiracies.
HILLARY HISTORY REPEATING?
Broadcast networks are ready to throw a party for Hillary 2016 in primetime – Apparently, few Americans remember back to 2006 and 2007. In the two years preceding January 2008, the press had Hillary already in the White House and the Corporate Media was picking her cabinet. Of course, they knew better because they turned on Hillary so ferociously, one would have thought she was a Christian or something.
Here’s a lesson: the Corporate Media dragged out all of the stories it had refused to print while Bill and Hillary were in the White House 1992-2000.
In fact, many of those articles printed about Hillary at the time were labeled “conspiracies” or “conspiracy theories” when Bill Clinton was president.
Remember Hillary’s infamous “vast right-wing conspiracy” claim?
Is Hillary Clinton doomed to wander about the American political theater, forever playing The Threat?
Kinda like the Flying Dutchman of progressive politics.

Yet there are millions of deceived individuals who will buy (and take to heart) this book because it is marketed as a “Christian” book.
If someone slapped a “Christian” label on a home cannibal kit, there would be churches in America who would be using it in fund-raising.
This writer was once in a church where the pastor was raving about The Circle Maker. He then asked if I had heard of it.
“I’m familiar with it.”
“What did you think of it?”
“Oh, it’s occult.”
I was then asked to leave.
“That’s probably a good idea. I thought this was a Bible study, not a satanic book club.”
