Deception is Everywhere – $50,000 Prize — for Best Hollywood Script Honoring God – What can possibly be wrong with this, right?
Wrong.
The name of the prize for a Hollywood script which “promotes a greater understanding or love of God?”
The Chronos Prize.
So what? Who was Chronos?
Chronos was imagined as a god, serpentine in form, with three heads—those of a man, a bull, and a lion. He and his consort, serpentine Ananke (Inevitability), circled the primal world egg in their coils and split it apart to form the ordered universe of earth, sea and sky.
Another pagan god. And not just any pagan god–a “serpentine” pagan god!
What a coincidence!
What a great name for a “Christian” prize! (Lest anyone think differently, the establishment of this prize was announced on a Christian PR website.)
Of course, most will be looking at the $50,000 and not the name.
Which, one suspects, is the point.

Black Friday is the real war on Christmas
THE PROPHETIC SHORTCOMINGS OF THE DEMONIC
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”

For thousands of years, men and women have consulted familiar spirits.
The consulting of familiar spirits is a practice which is forbidden by God’s Word.
“Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.”
–Leviticus 19:31
So, all of those who pretend to have access to “secret knowledge,” “hidden knowledge” and especially, knowledge about the future, receive their information from a familiar spirit (demon, devil or evil spirit).
Those unwary and deceived souls who pay for this knowledge–particularly those who seek out those who “talk to the dead” (necromancers)–are many times impressed by the necromancer’s ability to tell them information which “only the dead person would have known.”
But it the necromancer is not talking to that dead person: the dead do not talk. The necromancer is receiving his information from a familiar spirit.
It is important to realize that those who talk to the dead traffic primarily in information from the PAST.
However, the fortune teller, the astrologer, the diviner: their information (for the most part) is involved with FUTURE events.
HOW then does the demon/familiar spirit know the future?
“And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.”

It is very important to know that the demon/familiar spirit/devil does NOT know the future. That entity is only making an educated guess.
However, such a spirit is not only tremendously more intelligent than a human, it has a wider range of privileged information. Thus, it’s educated guesses sometimes turn out to be true.
This is easily demonstrated by comparing the “prophecies“/predictions of all those who traffic in such information. Their number of famously WRONG prophecies/predictions is many. The way the game is played: such people make a large number of predictions (which are really educated guesses by their familiar spirits). They then heavily promote those predicitions which “came true,” while not talking about those many ones which did not.
Many wolves in the churches have tried to confuse the public by insisting that demons have “limited foresight.”
But this simply is not true.
The “prophecies” and predictions from false prophets and fortune tellers are only the educated guesses from their familiar spirits.
At best, such people have a 50-50 chance of being right.
Fortune tellers, false prophets (both in person, on TV and on the Internet), as well as astrologers and others who claim to be able to “tell the future” are MUCH better at telling someone PAST events which have already happened.
The future?
Not so much.
Once more, such practices are not only ineffective, they are forbidden by the Bible.

CASTING OFF THE CORDS OF THE LORD
Men desire to partake in sin.
Here’s the secret: Men greatly desire THEIR particular flavors of sin.
Men are comfortable with sin, as long as the sin is THEIR FAVORITE SIN.
Other sin, which may be considered “too extreme,” they classify as “perverse” or “too much.”
BUT, once the door is open to sin, ALL sin eventually becomes allowable.
Is it now Okay to have sex with animals? – Once man has cast off the cords of the Lord, all manner of perversion and lawlessness will take place.

Hear that?
