IDOLATRY IS IDOLATRY
IF the reader was the most powerful being that ever has been, the reader would no doubt would grow agitated whenever someone would spin a tale downplaying the reader’s abilities.
Wouldn’t you?
This is what IDOLATRY basically does: it downplays the value of God Almighty and exalts an image of wood, metal or some other created material until–in the idolater’s mind, at least–it reaches a level where this base creation of man (who is a creation of God) is worshiped like the God of the Bible SHOULD be.
IDOLATRY is one behavior which really riles up God–particularly in the last days, when God’s creation should be preparing for a FINAL accounting and judgment.
God might even be especially perturbed by man’s efforts to re-make idolatry into something completely different.
As has been happening for the last twenty years or so in the churches.
The Bible calls a spade a spade: God’s Word is VERY clear about how idolatry in the last days will work.
” And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

IDOLATRY is the fashioning of a material into an image, statue or likeness and then WORSHIPING that image AS THOUGH IT WAS GOD.
There are any number of Bible verses which confirm this.
“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk“

“For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.”

And there will be a good deal of idolatry–old-fashioned, lets-make-an-image-of-a-gold-calf-or-two idol woship happening during the last days.
God’s Word declares it to be so.
Many who do NOT know God’s Word very well have heard of 666 and the mark of the beast. Because of mass indoctrination, very FEW associate this identifying end times mark with IDOL WORSHIP.
But it is.
666 (the mark of the beast) is a sort of receipt given to all those who worship the RIGHT way: that of bowing down to an image of the beast.
IN FACT, practically EVER TIME “mark of the beast” is mentioned in God’s Word, the fact the mark is associated with worshiping an idol is ALSO mentioned.
“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.”
–Revelation 16:1-2
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

As stated earlier in this piece, there has been a LOT of indoctrination to turn idol worship into something else.
It’s important to establish what is and what is not idolatry. This is important as false teachers, false religions, false apostles and others deceitful workers have worked tirelessly over the years to muddy the waters about what constitutes idolatry.
The dictionary (or man’s definition) of idolatry is as follows.
“Idolatry is the worship of an idol or a physical object as a representation of a god.”
In other words, the worship of a physical object that is seen and can be touched in the place of something that cannot be seen or touched.
The Bible repeatedly records what God has declared idolatry is. THIS is the only definition which counts.
God is VERY specific what constitutes an idol. The reader should be able to pick up a few characteristics which God uses to describe what an idol is in the following selections.
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them”
–Exodus 20:4-5“Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.”

In other words:
IDOLATRY IS IDOLATRY.
IDOL WORSHIP IS THE WORSHIPING OF AN IDOL.
These are VERY important points for the reader to keep in mind during the last days.
False teachers try to blur the very clear lines God has set up for idolatry by claiming there is something called “modern idolatry.” They confuse idolatry with the things of this world: self love, self divinity, pride. Some claim football and other past times are idols.
Some so-called “Christian” writers confuse straw men with idols. They offer the reader something different than what God declares an idol to be–and then they knock it over.
One website said “An idol is any person, object or activity you give a higher priority in your life than a relationship with God.”
This appears to have been manufactured by the person writing the piece. There is nothing in the Bible to support this definition of idolatry. There is nothing in the Bible to support that a person can be an idol.
Though not referring to Ephesians and Colossians, these folks sometimes reference pursuit of material wealth and the things of this world as well.
While none of these activities are godly, and ALL can be associated with sin, they are NOT idolatry (with the exception of covetousness and stubbornness).
IDOLATRY will be presented as SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT FROM IDOL WORSHIP.
No doubt, modern man will copy the ancient Israelites in calling their idol something else besides an idol.
The ancient Hebrews called their idol of the golden calf “the god that brought them out of Egypt.”
“And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.”

[NOTE: There are two instances in God’s Word where idolatry IS identified with other sins. Covetousness is one sin, stubbornness is another.
“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:”

Otherwise, IDOLATRY consists of fashioning and worshiping an IDOL.]
Regardless what the reader may be told in the future regarding idols, showing reverence to idols and bowing down to idols: IDOL WORSHIP IS IDOL WORSHIP.
To engage in idol worship, one must have both an idol and worshipers.
And idol worship is IDOLATRY which is STRICTLY forbidden by God’s Word.

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?
And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?
Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.orth
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

A Clunker of a Program – Cash for Clunkers was KNOWN to hurt car buyers, future car buyers, used car buyers, the working poor, all who bought used parts, etc.
At the time, it was not hard to find dozens of articles written by non-Corporate Media which pointed out these huge flaws.
The Corporate Media and the DC political cartel pretended they did not know any better.
NOW the Corporate Media pretends to have discovered the many drawbacks of destroying millions of running and fixable cars?
In short, Cash for Clunkers paid taxpayers’ money to all who destroyed the wealth of cars, while driving up the cost of used cars (since so many were destroyed) for the working poor.
Cash for Clunkers not only was the ultimate government program, it was the ultimate Hurt America program. Cash for Clunkers paid good money to destroy used cars and used parts.
SPOOKY ATHEISTS
Atheists to launch first TV channel dedicated to godlessness – Spooky atheist tales are what the Corporate Media tells people sitting in the pews at the churches to scare them.
The pew-sitters then repeat the fables in the hopes that their other “Christian” friends haven’t heard them yet.
“Atheists,” “homosexuals” and “satanists” are the favorite topics of conversation among the counterfeit church-goers. It’s just some of the words they use to con others into believing they live lives acceptable to God Almighty.
(Another way is to throw around words from the Old Covenant and to avoid saying the name of Jesus by saying “Yahshua.”)
According to the Luciferians, atheists are one of the groups targeted for future elimination–as are Christians.
The church folk can breathe a sigh of relief.
You are not targeted for elimination, you are targeted for sitting in the pews of another Church: the whore of Babylon.
Most church folk won’t notice much difference.

Believers are assured time and again by God’s Word that persecution for the name of Jesus is something glorious.

IN FACT, one of the ways one can tell the wheat from the chaff is by a person’s attitude about persecution for the name of Jesus. The righteous KNOW they are going to be persecuted: it is guaranteed, whether they live in the very last days or today.
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”

The times of coming chaos are a necessary prelude to Jesus Christ’s coming eternal kingdom. The days before Jesus’ second coming will be filled with persecution and tribulation.
