REASONS FOR THE BIBLICAL COMMAND TO NOT RAIL AGAINST THE DEVIL?

“Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.”

God’s Word is CLEAR that man is NOT to rail against the devil (Satan, the dragon).

to revile or scold in harsh, insolent, or abusive language

What is NOT so clear is to the reason(s) why those who follow God’s commandments are NOT to verbally revile Satan.

After all, Satan is man’s greatest enemy.

There is much speculation among those who speculate professionally about the Bible as to why this is.

The Bible itself HINTS at the reasons behind this injunction: though Satan is man’s enemy, he is in a hierarchy that was instituted by God Himself to bring to realization God’s plans and purposes.

2PETER 2:10-11 also refers to this reason for showing Satan a little verbal respect (though NO obedience).

“But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government [authority]. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.  Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.”

Here is some additional reasoning which ties in with all that has been written.

FIRST–Satan is called the “prince” of this world.

“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.”

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”
–John 14:30

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”

SECOND– ALL princes and rulers are in their places due to God’s will.

“By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.”

Satan–who is called the “prince of this world“–MOST CERTAINLY would NOT be in his position if not for God.

THIRD–The follower of God is NOT to waste his time in ANY idle talk—and that includes verbal abuse of the devil.

“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”

FOURTH–Railing against ANYONE–even Satan–goes against all that the Christian is to do in his life.

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

No doubt, there may be additional reasons for not railing against the devil.

AND, in the day when all is made clear, those additional reasons will be known.

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?

And really: what is more exciting than manufactured drama?

And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?

Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?

IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.

What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”

One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.

Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”

Oh–and pro wrestling…

One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.

Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.

Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

ROCK N ROLL: A SOUNDTRACK FOR REBELLION

Though most histories of rock and roll music try to connect the music to ANY and ALL other types of earlier music, what became popularized as rock ‘n’ roll   began–as so many other contributions to societal upheaval did–in America after World War II (1945).

Rock (as it was often called) was the beneficiary–as so many other contributions to societal upheaval have been–of a MASSIVE campaign to promote and popularize the music–especially among the youth.

One feature of rock music has always been the hard, steady beats laid down by the drum and bass.

One feature of DANCING to rock music has been its”let-yourself-go” ethos. (This is so much so in modern electronic rock that one genre is called “trance.”)

And one feature of the music itself was the constant theme of rebellion which helped sell the music to a youth looking to make its mark apart from its parents and mentors.

IN FACT, rebellion was so entwined with rock music, it often helped DEFINE what that music meant. REBELLION was often used to help describe the music itself.

WHY was rock music so heavily promoted during the years after WWII?

And why–75+ years later–does it continue to be promoted hourly, day-after-day?

After all, almost 90 percent of all air time in radio is dedicated to the continual playing of music of some sort–much of it still rock n roll (and its derivatives).

Perhaps because the end times are a time of rebellion.

Those who dwell upon the earth will follow after the dragon (Satan) in the world’s biggest rebellion: a rebellion against God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

This rebellion was called the “falling away” in the King James Version of the Bible. The word translated as “falling away” was from the Greek, APOTHASIA. If one is looking on the Internet for information about apostasia, one will be informed that the word means “forsake,” “falling away” or “defection.” BUT, if one has access to older books (which are not so easily changed at the touch of a button), one will find that apostasia had the meaning of “rebellion,” “revolt” or some other form of violent upheaval against the authorities.

THE G’s OF END TIMES PREPARATION

Survivalists and preppers often to refer to the “G’s” of their supposed salvation.

With a plenteous hoard of his 3 G’s, the prepper likes his chances that he will withstand calamity and doom–including the chaos and calamities of the end times.

Others have added to this list.  One person claimed that to survive any economic crash, one needed FIVE G’s.

Lately, some preppers have been referring to the SEVEN G’s.

MEDIA NARRATIVES ALERT

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
