THE FIVE CURSES OF SIN

At the time Adam and Eve disobeyed God, the LORD pronounced five curses. ALL demonstrated the destructiveness of (Adam’s) sin.

The five curses were:

1- on the serpent/Satan

“And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

There is some disagreement among those who wrangle over Scripture.

Some say that God cursed the ground (the earth) as it says in Genesis 3:17.

Others maintain that God only cursed the land which was in the Garden of Eden. Of course, the latter case would not be much of a curse as Adam (and Eve) were driven from Eden as soon as God announced his curses.

God remembered his curses after the flood of Noah’s time and made Noah (and mankind) a few promises in order to lighten Noah’s burden of repopulating the earth.

“And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
–Genesis 8:23-24

Some claim that God’s Word supports the idea that sin is what ruined a perfect environment created by God for man. Because of sin, the result was a corrupted world.  Decay was introduced and rot, rust and degradation occurred where NONE was originally planned.

“For the creature [creation] was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”

“Corruption” here signifies the destruction of the body by death: and “the bondage of corruption,” the continuation of the destroyed body in the grave.–Dr. Macknight.

The meaning of the verse is, that a time is coming, when death shall be succeeded by immortality, and this effect of Adam’s sin be taken off from his posterity. —Dean Stanhope.

The creature; the creation. In this and the three following verses the word rendered creature and creation is the same in the original Greek. It seems to denote the whole of this lower creation as brought under God’s curse, and made subject to suffering and abuse in connection with the fall of man. Compare Ge 3:16-19.

Escaping Deception: Five Observations

THE CONTRADICTORY COSMOLOGY OF THE WORLD’S SCIENCE

The world tells a great many stories about how things are the way things are.

Most of these stories are told by the worldly authority of science.

However, we can KNOW that the stories science tells about the way the world operates are false.  We can KNOW that these stories about the universe’s cosmology are WRONG by any number of ways.

1. The stories of science constantly change.  The truth NEVER changes.  Science itself claims that the constantly-changing nature of its stories is “proof” that the stories are true.  BUT, IF the stories were true, they would never change.  Which leaves the reader to wonder, “Which story is supposedly true: the one which was claimed to be the truth originally or the latest story, which is NOW claimed to be the truth?”
2. The stories of science contradict, not only each other but, basic “scientific principles” which were once taught in basic science classes throughout the world.  It is telling that these basic “scientific principles” have ceased being taught because they make it harder for the public to believe the latest batch of scientific stories.
3. Many times, the stories of science contradict data collected by readers, disinterested third parties or other independent sources of information.
4. Mostly, the stories of science have occult roots.  This helps explain why the stories of science almost ALWAYS contradict what God’s Word–which is the ONLY source of truth–proclaims.  It also helps explain why so many modern scientific stories in the end times do not even try hiding their occult origins.
5. Many times, the stories of science change according to how the public perceives the latest scientific story.  IF the public refuses to believe a story (even after a concentrated propaganda campaign in the media) the story will often change to the EXACT OPPOSITE of the earlier story. An illuminating example of this is the story told in the 1970s of global cooling–which (when visible weather patterns changed) was changed to global warming–which (when visible weather patterns changed) was changed to climate change.
6. Increasingly, the stories offered by science cannot be checked by third parties.  The stories consist of theories and data which cannot be measured–except by the esoteric means of the storytellers.

The cosmology offered by the world (and the world’s science) is not only contradictory, it is wildly improbable (to say the least).

For instance, EVOLUTION was once offered as the answer to the question, “How did man originate?”

Over the years, so many holes developed in the EVOLUTION story that science mostly does NOT even try to defend that story.  NOW, questions about EVOLUTION are many times answered by the latest story: space aliens and alien DNA.

No doubt the reader could find examples (if he doesn’t already have several) of the contradictory nature of the world’s cosmology IF he has 1- 20 minutes; 2- access to a library; and 3- the drive to do so.

BUT, be forewarned: anyone who questions the stories of science will become a target for ridicule and name calling (which are basically the only tools the world has available to enforce its views on the public). Initially, the world ignores the inconvenient questions until they become too loud or insistent to ignore.

THEN, the world attacks the questioners with a huge portion of snarky attitude.

AND, if all of that does not work…

…the world just changes its story.

The State of the American Church: Church planting

In America more churches close each year in America than are being planted.  80 percent of American churches have either plateaued or are declining.

Numbers.

All of these preceding articles have to do with numbers.  None of the articles are about the spiritual health of the American Church. It’s all about numbers: how many counterfeits can be squeezed into the seats of the latest pagan temple called a church.

It’s deplorable–and many of the ones in the middle of the corruption dance around and celebrate any increase of the ungodly under their roof as if they were from God.

It has taken the spirit of iniquity nearly 2000 years to subvert and corrupt the pure Word of God and the great majority of Christ’s Church.

Jesus was disgusted at the scribes and Pharisees doing much the same thing during his earthly ministry.

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.”

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF 666? A FEW THOUGHTS

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Recently, someone asked a very good question.

“Where did 666 come from?  What is the significance of the number?”

Although the preceding is two different questions, the questioner meant them as one.  One question, with the second as a sort of clarification about what he meant.

This is a good question because, though many understand that 666 is an important end times number, they do not understand anything further.  And in the times in which we now live, the number diminishes daily of those who even understand that 666 is an important end times number.

Perhaps surprisingly, God’s Word does not have much to say (beyond Revelation 13:16-18) about 666.

Therefore, here are a few observations/speculations/thoughts about 666 and its significance in the end times.

1- Regardless of what we know or do not know about the intricacies of 666, the number itself is important because of the information contained in Revelation 13:16-18.  The number 666 (or the “mark of the beast” or the name of the beast or the number of his name) will be used to screen those who want to buy or sell (and to most, the ability to buy or sell means the ability to eat, to survive, to live). This economic system will be put in place by the leader of the world government (the beast) and his “mouth“: the man of sin.

2- About the beast, God’s Word informs that

“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.”
–Revelation 13:5

This “mouth” is the man of sin.

3- 666 is the number of a man.

“Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
–Revelation 13:18

Among those who claim to decipher the Word of God for the unlearned common folk, 7 is the number of godly perfection and 6 is one short.

Or the number of man, who is short of God.

4- 666 most probably was used in some capacity by the evil worldwide civilization which existed before God destroyed it in the flood.

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.”
–Genesis 6:5-7

“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.”
–Genesis 6:11

That 666 was used in some capacity by the evil worldwide, demonically-driven world empire before the flood is speculation on the part of this writer.

HOWEVER, that speculation is based on Matthew 24:37 and Luke 17:26.

“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
–Matthew 24:37

“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.”
–Luke 17:26

(And yes, we do realize that Matthew 24:37 and Luke 17:26 were specifically referring to the situation of man totally surprised by the sudden onslaught of the flood compared to end times man totally surprised by the sudden appearance of Jesus Christ, But, both Scripture can also be used as a general description of both times.)

Perhaps 666 was needed to buy or sell in the days immediately before Noah and his family entered the ark?

Again, this last thought is only speculation.

The true significance of 666 is fairly easy, however.

When the reader sees it being used–particularly as a screening device to enable one to buy or sell–one can KNOW that the return of Jesus Christ is not far off.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.

A story of two weasels: FoxNews’ Sean Hannity and science!

‘I’m not a journalist!’: Hannity defends himself from claims he’s a Trump trumpeter – Hannity’s set designers need to put a large sign over Hannity’s desk with these words (“I’m not a journalist!“) on it.

Hannity pretends to be a journalist every day he’s on the air. And so does Fox News and many others in the Corporate Media. Then when it’s obvious he is only a mouthpiece, he runs and hides behind the claim “Hey, I’m not a journalist!”

Hannity’s dishonest protest reminds one of those silly claims by scientistswhenever they’re caught with their hands in the cookie jar: “We never said we were the truth!”

But then daily, in hundreds of ways, it’s pretended that science IS the truth; that somehow science is some objective referee of the truth.

Sean Hannity puts on much the same act: pretending to be an objective arbiter of the truth of the world–instead of a man who is paid to say whatever words are put into his mouth.

THREE YEARS AGO

WHEN NO TRUTH IS RECOGNIZED

Political Views – The musings of one Marco Arment, whose post-modern deconstructionist thoughts are encouraged by his friends.  Marco maintains all thoughts or values are the same; that one cannot that one place any more more value on one thought or religion than another.  That all are merely “opinions,”  one having no more worth than another.

“Beliefs” and “views” deserve no inherent protection, validity, or value to the rest of society simply because they’re political or religious. They’re just opinions, and just as many opinions are worth considering and discussing, many others are offensive, crazy, ignorant, or bigoted.

One man’s open-mindedness is another man’s blasphemy.

When everything has equal value, nothing has any value.

When it’s claimed there is no truth, then lies will be valued as if they were the truth.

One man’s murder is another man’s amusement in Marco’s world. One man’s murder is another man’s choice.

In which case, it is fortunate that no one has seen fit to do violence to Marco–or blaspheme his mom–else how would he obtain justice in a court practicing his worldview?

When truth is not recognized, everything is equally valid, even perversion.

Scientists in race to resurrect extinct species – The government, the media, the apostate churches and entertainment have worked together to ensure that people believe that resurrection of the dead is not only possible, but probable.

Unlikely bedfellows working toward the same goal: end times deception.

The end times “miracles, signs and lying wonders” the Bible warns against will surely include “raising the dead.”  Worldly movies promote zombies and the “living dead,” while ungodly churches have been promoting talk of “raising the dead.”

NOWHERE will the lying signs and wonders of Satan be on display more than in the God-forsaken churches.
